chapter fifteen

A month later..

Things have changed a lot in the past month. Not a lot but some things. Monse hasn't talked to Cesar or I and I don't know why me but Cesar yeah I understand I guess. Cesar and Jamal work at Jamals dads joint. Ruby barely leaves his bed anymore and Jasmine and I haven't caught up lately.

Oscar came in my room.

"Here's some clothes. You can dress like me for one day." Oscar said throwing clothes at me

I got dressed and we went to the store.

Mario aka Ruby's brother and Oscar saw each other.

They started talking about Ruby and how he's doing.

Mario said how he won't get out of bed.. nothing will. Of course my brother has to go to Ruby's house to get him out of bed.

We walked into Ruby and the twins room. I stood by the door and my brother took care of Ruby.

The sat on Ruby's bunk and looked at the stuffed animals in the room.

"Get up.. we're going to a party"

"Is that why you wanted me to dress like you today" I asked Oscar

"Maybe.. maybe not" He said

Mario, Oscar, Ruby and I left for the party.

I was standing at the food table with Ruby and Mario until Mario's ex came up to him and they started talking. They started making out. Ruby left and started talking to a girl.

Later on at the party Ruby started doing a speech.

I stood next to Oscar and Ruby started shouting out Spooky/Oscar.

"And thank you for making me an uncle in the next couple of months" Ruby said obviously drunk as hell

"You're going to have a baby?!" His ex said mad

"Yep.. I'm gonna be a dad"

She slapped him hard.

"Damnnnn" Oscar and I both said.. we looked at each other and started laughing

Ruby then kept going with his speech and started rapping.

We all started chanting "PROPHETS SUCK"

They were about to roll up on the Prophets now.

"You coming?" Oscar asked me before he left

"Nah have fun though" I said as we both smiled at each other

Ruby, Mario and I were left and we left the place.

Mario dropped me off at my house and went home with Ruby.
