We went inside and told Oscar. Oscar grabbed his gun and ran outside.. he stopped and looked at the guy.
"Oscar.. who is that?" Cesar asked
"Our father" Oscar said sounding pissed off
We went inside and our dad came in also.
Today we had school again.
Our dad looked around while Cesar and Oscar sat on the couch. I sat down right between them.
We watched our dad look around.
His name is Ray. I remember Oscar telling me when we were younger. Ray pisses me off just as much as Oscar. He might be our dad but I won't forgive him. Cesar might.. he forgives easier but Cesar also doesn't know.
Cesar kept asking him questions trying to find out about his life. Ray sat down across from us and smoked his cigarette.
Oscar put his arm around me which pulled me right next to him.. I looked over and he was clenching his fist.
"Cesar and Jade you guys need to get to school" Oscar said not even looking at us
Cesar was about to say something until Oscar looked at us definitely mad. We got up and grabbed our backpacks and we started walking to school.
Cesar made plans to hangout with Ray.
We made it to school and Cesar walked off. I walked up to Jamal.
He put his arm around me.
"Good morning J" I said
"Okay so I'm being stalked I just know it" Jamal said
"Babe stop worrying. She might like you.. just tell her to go away I mean you have a girlfriend which is me." I said smiling at him
We walked up to Jasmine, Ruby and Monse. He took his arm off of me and started talking to them.
Ruby, Jasmine, Monse and Jamal were going somewhere after school and I went home. Ray was gone because Cesar was going to eat with him.
Jamal texted me the other day and said we had to work off our debt at Jamals dads joint.
Later I met up with Jamal at the joint. We went into the backroom and I put my shirt on. Jamal struggled and he got a call after he got it on.
We answered it and it was the girl who was stalking him. His dad kept coming in and telling us to get to work.
She hung up the phone and Jamal and I went into the restaurant part of the joint.
"Did you just say I'm fired?" Jamal asked
"Oh so you finally decided to listen?" His dad asked
"I am sick and tired of your privilege." His dad said
"Privilege? My people have been kept down-" Jamal started saying as people starting looking at all three of us
"Kept down? You are spoiled."
"I am not spoiled." Jamal said as his voice was squeaky
"No no no. You are more lazy and entitled unless it comes to Jade or your friends then spoiled and not to mention a terrible employee." His dad said
"He's not a terrible employee. He works harder than you do at your own job." I said
"You're fired too Jade and also a terrible employee"His dad said looking at me
"TERRIBLE EMPLOYEES? ME AND HER. WHAT ABOUT TAMMY? YOU KNOW SHE BE PUTTING FRENCH FRIES IN HER BRA BEFORE SHE LEAVES." Jamal yelled
"Excuse me?" Tammy said putting her hand on her hip
"YOU KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT PROBABLY EVEN STEALING CHICKEN FINGERS AND I DONT EVEN WANNA KNOW WHERE YOU HIDE THE DIPPING SAUCES." Jamal yelled again
"That's right. You don't." She said walking away
"AND CESAR HAD SEX UP IN HERE" Jamal yelled
"Was it in the food area?" Jamals dad asked
"No sir"
"Then we're good"
"IF YOU FIRE US HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO PAY YOU BACK?" Jamal yelled walking up to his dad
"I don't know. That's on you two."
"BUT NO ONE IS GOING TO HIRE A KID LIKE ME I MEAN HER YES BUT ME NO" Jamal yelled
"EXACTLY. The hardest part about a job is getting it and that's the lesson you need to learn. Good luck!"Jamals dad said
Jamal got mad and took his shirt off. He ran up to his dads chest and he fell back so I caught him.
"GOODBYE DWAYNES JOINT! I HOPE I NEVER SEE YOU AGAIN!" Jamal said until he came back in
"See you at home?"
"See you at home."
"Love you" Jamal said
"Love you" Jamals dad said as Jamal speedwalked away
I started walking to the door.
"Jade I'm going to need that shirt back." He said
"I'll bring it over later" I said
"Alright sounds good. Have a nice day! Calm Jamal down please."
"Don't worry I will" I said walking out
I said catching up to Jamal. We went to his house and he gave me a shirt. I gave him the Dwaynes shirt.
"Alright. See you tomorrow baby?" Jamal asked kissing my head
"Of course" I said smiling
He walked me to his door. He opened the door for me and held onto the door frame once I got outside. We kissed.
"Goodnight. Love you!" Jamal said
"Love you more!" I said walking to the sidewalk
"Lies. I LOVE YOU MORE!" Jamal said
"We love each other the same now goodnight" I said walking to my house
I walked inside. Cesar was asleep and I don't know where Ray is. Oscar was sitting on the couch drinking his beer.
I sat down next to him.
"You got him a job huh?" Oscar said pissed off
"No. I didn't. It was just Cesar and Jamals dad. Jamal and I just got fired today which meaning Ray got Jamal and I's spot."
"Jamal good?"
"Trying. Still pissed off. We can't pay our debt if we have no job. He's fine though.. I calmed him down."
"Good. Goodnight love you." Oscar said as I got up
"Love you too" I said walking into my room for the night.
