"Sensei, what's wrong?" She could sense the distress in his stance and eyes and the way his breath grew the slightest bit quicker.
"Sora, you need to listen to me." He looked at her in slight sadness. "I need you to be calm, don't cry, and don't try and disobey me."
"Yes, sensei." She nodded with her own features turning serious, having never heard his voice become so serious.
They we're halfway to the land of waves, taking a break on a small island when Aoi had jumped up. He bent down to her level and calmly shut his eyes, patting her hair.
"I'm afraid this will be our last time seeing each other, Sora." His voice was stern, sad, and calm all at the same time. Sora could feel tears welling up in her sky blue eyes, but listening to her sensei, she willed them to stay unshed.
"Take this letter." Aoi handed her the sheet of paper, securing it tightly in her weapons pouch.
"I'll will the water to show you the way, but once it stops it means I'm dead. You will not stop and you will not come back for me."
"Yes, Sensei..."
A small tear rolled down her cheek, as he smiled softly and brang his thumb up to wipe the water. His arms circled around her small figure, bringing her into a soft hug.
"I want you to find your papa. If I'm honest, I was taking us to the land of waves since I heard he was there, and I had a hunch Orochimaru would find me."
"B-But, what do I do?" She was just a child. She needed someone to depend on, and the only person she could trust and depend on was going to leave her.
Her eyes searched for any hope in the man, any lies to his words, but she only found the truth.
"If you want my advice, just act like yourself and straight up tell him, 'Kakashi Hatake is my papa' But act like you don't know it's him, that way it'll be really funny when he freaks out, yeah?" He winks with a lopsided grin, forcing a giggle to escape her.
"Now then," He rummages through his traveling bag for a moment or two, retreating his hand and placing a pair of sunglasses in her palm.
"Take this, to remember me. As a gift. I was saving it for your birthday in August since I had them custom made and all, but..." She frowned, knowing what he meant. "It's time you get going, Sora. Take these sunglasses and only place them on with people you trust."
"Sensei, I'll miss you."
"Me too, Sora. But you must stay strong." She stepped on the water and lifted her blindfold to take a clearer look at him, even if it was slightly blurry from her unshed tears.
"Stay safe, Sora."

The waves stopped.
And her own heart almost did.
She sniffled and cried a little, now guiding herself and running towards the land of waves. The water was guiding her for a whole hour. A whole hour he fought against Orochimaru.
Thats longer than most can say.
"Hey! Who are you!?" She sighed and turned her head to the voice, looking at the boy with black hair and wearing a large hat and blue and yellow clothes.
"Your mom." Was her grumbled out reply, but he just rolled his eyes and placed his hands on his hips.
"You shouldn't be here, kid! And- Wait, how are you walking on water!?"
"I'm jesus." Her own eyes rolled behind her blindfold as she shrugged. "I don't know. Magic?"
"Do you need help?" She honestly did. Not only did she know nothing of where to go, but she was a three year old who didn't really know how to survive and was used to getting spoiled by her sensei.
"Maybe..."
"C'mon, then. We have guests over, but mom would be mad if I left a kid alone." She slowly stepped onto the deck and instantly stopped using her chakra, feeling the tension leave her body as it relaxed.
"Can you even see with that thing on?"
"Yes, I can."
Inari shrugged and grasped her smaller hand, leading her towards his house.
Not more than five minutes had passed when the older boy felt a sudden weight on his shoulder. Turning his head to the weight, his eye twitched at the sight of her sleeping and his fingers twitched.
Carefully lifting her, Inari slowly walked towards his house, which was luckily not too far away.

Sora slowly woke up when a few muffled voices grew louder, and she could hear great confusion.
Actually, she could feel it.
Coming back to her senses, the voices all stopped and looked at her while she did the same.
"Heyo," She grinned. "Who're you?"
"We could say the same thing." A deep and smooth voice replied, closer to her than the others. Sora immediately recognized the male.
"The names Naruto Uzumaki!" His teammates facepalmed as Kakashi sighed.
"I'm Kakashi Hatake. These are my students...If you can see them."
"I can see em. Pinky, emo and blondie."
"Yeah," He was suspicious of the young girl despite her young age. She was clearly either really skilled or had some sort of ability to see under the blindfold.
"Whats your name?"
She giggled and grinned, fishing out the letter from her pocket which they thankfully didn't take.
"My names Sora Hatake!" She pointed at the shocked male. "And you're my papa!"
