"Mr. Toji~" Said male grunted and turned to look at her in amusement. He'd met the damn brat a few weeks ago, and though his son didn't like her much, she was quite amusing when it came to insulting the zenins.
Since the zenin and Hatake clan didn't have the best relationships, he figured becoming friends with the brat would annoy the council, his goal exactly.
It seemed, as though, it was hers as well.
"Hey, brat." He handed her a piece of mochi and she immediately accepted, giggling and munching on the small sweet.
"Say, do you know papa?"
"Hatake?" He nodded. "He's annoying, and a brat." Sora hummed, not bothering to get upset with the man as he was the only one she'd allow to insult her father.
Other than her sensei, of course. No ones better than sensei.
"Mr. Toji?"
"What?" She swings her feet back and forth and crawls into his lap, plopping down and munching on the sweet while he grunted in response to her.
"Papa seems stressed lately."
"He does?"
"Yeah..." She frowned, thinking of when her father had come home and was so tired he hadn't noticed she was faking. Instead, he just placed her on his chest and instantly fell asleep, emotions of stress, anger, and exhaustion lingering.
"How so?"
"I think it's because of Orochipedo."
"Orochi what?" Toji snorted, obviously knowing who she was talking about. "The snake guy with bad fashion sense."
"Oh, him."
"You know, your fashion sense is way better."
"Of course it is."
"But senseis is always better."
"Of course his is..."
She swallowed the last of the sweet, smiling in satisfaction. It was a rare moment of silence that Sora wanted to break, but instead found herself drifting off to sleep.
Tojis eye twitched as she adjusted her body to hang her legs off the side of his own crossed ones, and her head lay on his other thigh. She lazily spread her legs and arms out and finally stopped squirming.
"Oi," He drawled. "Don't use me as a bed, brat."
"Hm? What'd you say?" He narrowed his eyes when he noticed the tip of her lips quirk up. He brought his fingers to pinch her left cheek, huffing when she whined and swatted his hand away to no avail.
"Stop it!"
"Hm? What'd you say?" He mocked, a slight smirk on his face as he finally released her cheek and picked her up. Annoyed, Sora glared at him behind her blindfold and knew he could sense her anger.
"Listen," He placed her on his hip. "If you're father finds you here, it'll be a lot of trouble. You need to go home now."
"You scared?" She wrinkled her nose. "Scaredy-Cat."
"I'm not scared, just too lazy to deal with anything your dumbass of a father wants."
"Oh...Hey, no insulting papa!"
"Whatever." He walked towards the compounds gates and set her on her feet, rolling his eyes at her small whine. She sighed and flexed her arms, getting ready to use her chakra strings.
"By the way, Mr. Toji?"
"What?" He was getting a little irritated now.
"Whos Maki?"
"Maki...?" He scratched his hair. "Who is that again?"
"I just asked you!"
"I don't know."
"But how can you not remember someone as pretty- but not as pretty as me- as that!?"
"Go, now." He lightly kicked her bottom which made her stumble forwards.
"Tch!" Chakra strings attached to the trees around as she pulled her body forwards and swung, not before sticking her tongue out at the zenin who only flipped her off, uncaring of her age.
Sora suddenly almost lost grip on her chakra strings when she realized tomorrow was the chunin exams. Excitement flowed through her veins as she thought of the many people she could kill. Plus, she could meet the first and second hokage!
Now isn't that something to brag about?
"Sora Hatake." She grinned at the tall Hatake in front of her, who seemed to tired to even scold her. He pointed at the usual spot he would make her train at, and she sent him a pout while whining.
"Papa, I don't 'wanna!"
"Go, Sora."
"But papaaaaa~!"
"Now." Not wanting to disobey his orders, she turned and walked to the spot to work on the small lightning jutsu he was teaching her. It wasn't like she wanted to train, but he insisted she do so because of the fact that a sannin was after her.
Sora argued that her sensei would just save her, and Kakashi had to bite his tongue to refrain from telling her the man was dead, though she already knew that. It was just her own way of comforting herself.
Later that night, her new routing which consisted of Kakashi forcing her to learn about Konohas history, making her dinner and giving her a bath then proceeding to put her to bed. Sora felt a chill run down her spine.
Tomorrow would be the day that all went to hell- at least for Naruto and Sasuke, and she was excited. Everything about tomorrow was going to be great!
The only bad thing was that the scary snake man was going to be there, and that her father would most likely ban her from fighting- but it's not like she'd listen! All of this 'No killing' stuff was going to make her insane!
She couldn't even try and kill her father or friends, because when team 7 came to their house once and she suddenly pounced on them with a knife, to which they all screamed including the Uchiha and not her father who ended up grabbing the knife and breaking it much to her dismay.
He set in a new ban, and now she was bored to death.
All Sora wanted was to kill someone!
Was that too much to ask for?
"Sora, get back to sleep!"
"Ugh, papaaaa~!"
