"What's wrong, Sora?" Naruto and Sakura asked the shaking girl while Kakashi stuck his hand out to them for silence. She had her legs wrapped around his waist and her head was hidden in his shoulder, while his hand pat her back gently.
"God, what's gotten her so shaken up?" Asuma muttered to Kakashi who leaned over to explain. Immediately understanding and backing off to give them space.
"Sora, are you okay now."
"Mhm." Sora removed her face from his shoulder and he took a moment to summon Pakkun for her. The dog, who was confused, just allowed Kakashi to set her down beside him and to cuddle while they watched Narutos battle.
"Hey Sora!" Naruto waved. "I don't know why you're crying, but I'll win for you!"
Hearing his words, Sora grinned and waved back at Naruto. But after seeing Akamaru, her grin faltered a little as she yelled back.
"Just dont hurt the doggie too much!"
"Okay!"
"Hey!" Kiba growled. "I'm right here!"
"Oh really? Didn't see 'ya there." Naruto must've picked up a few lines from Sora, because now he was learning how to insult people. Kakashi gave Sora a look, to which she turned a way and 'tched' acting oblivious.
"Papa?"
"Hm?"
"More mochi?"
"No."
"Why not, Kakashi!" The loud voice boomed as Sora turned to the man while playing with Pakkuns paws.
"Who're you, mister?"
"My name is Gai Maito! You must be the young snowflake I saw with Kakashi that day?"
"Yup! Papa was scared of you and ran away so we didn't get to meet!"
"I was not scared."
"It's okay Papa. Everyone scared of something, even me."
"Listen Sora, I was not scared."
"My rival!" Gai cried. "How could you not tell me you had a daughter, nonetheless a wife?!"
"I don't have a mama. The birds brought me to sensei and then sensei brought me to papa."
"Huh?"
"Gai," The copy-cat ninja did not want to deal with his friend who always seemed like he was on something.
"Go away."
"Never! We are eternal rivals and I shall always be by your side!"
