Tense, threatening and wary is how the room felt excluding Sora as she played with Pakkun and giggled. Behind her, Toji and Kakashi sat, both staring at each other with narrowed eyes and killing intent rolling off of them in waves. Kakashi intertwined his fingers together but didn't once ease his gaze. Suddenly, Toji smirked and placed his arm behind the couch, resting it and clearly showing how relaxed he was in the presence of the hidden leafs (possibly) strongest shinobis presence, a definite display of how confident he was in his own strength.

"If you guys are done having an intense eye-make out session can we get mochi?"

They both ignored Sora but did finally speak. Kakashi began, a tone of controlled anger as well as warning in his voice. "You want me to let you take my child to an isolated academy, controlled by the higher ups and teach her ninjutsu?"

"School, not academy. And yeah, pretty much." Toji nodded, and sent Sora a look since her lips were turned downwards in confusion. Did her papa not know what jujutsu was...?

"What in the world would possess you to think I would allow you, a zenin, my clans rival, to take my child and teach her."

"Actually, I told him to, papa," Sora butted in but closed her mouth as soon as the silver-haired man sent a warning look from the corner of her eyes. She ignored it, but didn't try speaking.

"Well, she's talented," He internally groaned at his own words, but they were the truth whether he wanted to admit it or not. The Fushiguro ignored the smirk the brat gave him, he'll beat 'er up later, maybe trim that ego of hers while he's at it. "and you barely have time for her either way, if she's at the school she'll be protected at all times. It's just a normal school and all her needs will be taken care of, I don't know why you think it's something bigger than just that."

Kakashi glared at him with a hiss. "Because you're zen'ins, it's always bigger than that."

"Papa, that sounds racist." Kakashi randomly pulled out mochi from a scroll and tossed it to the girl who giggled happily and skipped off with Pakkun following. Poor dog was already exhausted just by talking to the brat.

Toji and Kakashi continued speaking. "Again, other than all her needs being taken care of, what is the real reason for this?"

At this, the ravenette fell silent his eyes darkening as he clenched his fingers. Clearly, what Kakashi said had angered the man but Toji didn't seem like he was going to explain his anger. Yeah, there was no way Kakashi was entrusting his child to the likes of Toji Zenin, at least not without an explanation. The Hatake may be a terrible father, yes he'll admit that, but he's not so terrible that he would just toss his child into the wrong hands. He wants to avoid that happening at all costs.
