Chapter Two.

Four Years Later.

Liam Rivera.

After leaving that day, Arian went to stay with her best friend and childhood friend Mandy in Spain.

She knew that she had to make a change in the way she was. Her style and most importantly to get herself healthy.

It has been four years since she left the country. Since she left everything.

Her past.

She can now look into the future. The future she made for herself.

Her best friend, Mandy has been supportive of her ever since she arrived in Spain.

Arian took action by making changes to herself and the way she was before wasn't someone she wanted to be forever.

First, she needed to go to a nutritionist and then head to a gym. With the help of Mandy, Arian began to see the change in herself and the way she is.

"Wow, Arian you look great", says her best friend Mandy. Arian just smiled at her knowing that she felt great.

Arian felt confident in herself and began to have the self-love she needed all those years living with her parents and sister.

When she spoke to her parents about leaving, they somehow knew that this was going to happen because of the way Theo had been behaving.

They told her that she had their support in anything she needed from them.

Arian was grateful that they allowed her to leave and divorce Theo.

Arian had moved out of Mandy's house just a few months back because she knew that they needed to be alone.

They have lunch every day at their favorite place to talk and have a girls' afternoon.

"Thank you, Mandy. I won't have done this without you or Mike...."

"And don't forget Liam too", Mandy teases her best friend. They both knew that Liam had feelings for Arian but he also knew her story.

"Mandy, don't start and stop thinking whatever you are thinking of. Liam and I are just friends. Okay? Friends", Arian tells her best friend who knew better than that.

"Fine but I wouldn't want you to miss having a partner like him. That will do anything for you. Liam is that person".

"I know but what if he is not what I want or I am not what he needs?" asks Arian.

"Then why don't you just ask me?" A voice said behind her making Mandy smile knowing it was Liam.

Arian turned around to see that it was Liam standing there in his work suit with no tie.

"And my work here is done. Don't worry I will pay for the bill. Have fun and call me", Mandy tells them getting up from her chair. She then left them alone.

"I didn't know you would be here. You can sit down", Arian tells Liam.

"Thanks. I heard what you said and I want to tell you that you are everything I need and more", he answers her while taking a sit.

"But, I...."

"We can it as slowly as you want but if it was up to me I would have married you right now", he tells her.

Arian knows that Liam is serious about what he says. Ever since she met him, she knew from Mike that what Liam wants Liam gets.

"We can start by going on a date tomorrow. If aren't impressed then I won't try and to pursue you anymore", Liam suggested to her.

"Okay, sure".

"Okay, I will pick you up at seven a.m and dress warm and comfortable. I have to go now. I will see you tomorrow", Liam tells her.

He gets up leaving her confused.

Eight a.m. In the morning. Let me get my hands on Mandy.

"I forgot something, this isn't Mandy's idea. It was mine", he tells her and then kisses her forehead.

I will still kill her for this.

Second chances in love rarely make an appearance in one's life. This meant that the first time we fell in love wasn't meant for us.
