Chapter 20

You Are Invited To Liam And Arian's Wedding Part One.

One Year Later.

Happily ever after does exist.

It has been a year since everything happened, since Veronica's trial.

Mandy gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. She named her Jasmine.

"Hello, there Jasmine. Where is your mum?", Arian as Mandy's and Mike's one-year-old daughter.

"Jas, where are you?" Mandy yells for her as she runs to find her daughter.

"She is with me, Mandy", Arian tells her while scooping Jasmine in her arms.

"Finally, ever since she has been walking, she hasn't been standing still. Thank you, Aria".

"No problem. Where's Mike?".

Ever since Mandy found out what Mike did, she was beyond pissed. Even though his intention was true, Mandy forgave him.

"With your fiancée. They have been together a lot lately...."

"You are jealous of their relationship...."

Arian laughed at how childish her best friend was. Jasmine joined in laughing alongside her godmother.

"Stop, Ari. I miss him that's all", she tells her pouting.

"I know that and I miss Liam too but they said that they have a project that they need to finish. So we have to respect that, Mandy", Arian explains.

Jasmine held out her hands wanting her mother to carry her.

"Come here, munchkin. You have to eat your breakfast. Aria you too".

Meanwhile, Liam and Mike were at the finished houses they built beside each other.

"Do you think they will like it?", Liam asks Mike.

"Well, I do know Mandy and she loves a big kitchen and Arian loves a big garden", Mike explains to him.

"Well, I am nervous about tonight. What if she says no?".

"She won't say no because she loves you and besides she has a surprise for you. Yeah, am not supposed to say that", Mike tells Liam.

"You are supposed to be on my side..."

"Yeah no. I love my wife and I won't want to get on her bad side".

Later that night, Liam and Arian were driving to their date. They were both nervous about tonight.

"I have to blindfold you. And no I won't kill you", he parks the car.

"You aren't funny, babe".

He took a blindfold and tied it around her eyes.

"I hope it's not tight...."

"It's okay, please don't make me fall".

All she could hear was his laughter.

"I promise you I won't let you fall except falling for me," he says pecking her lips.

Liam placed his arms around her and asked her to wait. Arian felt cold where Liam was standing she knew that she was alone.

"Okay, open your eyes", he tells her as he takes off the blindfold. She blinked to adjust to the brightness of the light.

She stood in a heart shape that was made out of petals in a room that was filled with her favourite flowers.

Arian turned around to see where Liam was, she found him down on one knee with an engagement ring that had her birthstone.

"I know that I prepared a speech but the words aren't coming out. The first day I met you was a day that I would always remember because it was the day I met you. The love of my life. I love you, Arian, will you marry me?", he tells her holding out the ring.

"Yes, I will marry you", she jumped and started kissing him falling on the ground.

"As I said, baby, you always fall for me", he took her hand and put on the ring.

"I have a surprise for you", she tells him taking his hand and putting it in her stomach.

"Really, Liam? In eight months you are going to be a dad", she tells him.

"I am going to be a dad", he shouts and carries her swinging.

"Liam", she hits him on his back. "Let me go".

"I am sorry are you alright?", he asks inspecting her.

"Liam I am fine but we are hungry", she tells him pouting and making him smile.

Liam led her to where he set up a table. He opened the cover revealing her favourite foods that he prepared,

"Wow, this is amazing. Who made this?", Arian asks as he fills her plate with food.

"I cooked all of this for you Arian".

"Thank you but this is a bit too much besides I can't finish all of this". 

When she saw how he filled her plate.

"Eat so that our peanut will be strong and healthy...."

"You are making me fat. I don't want to be fat", she says pouting.

"I will always love you. Now and forever", he kisses her lips.

"Fine but we aren't calling our baby peanut", she says to him while he is feeding her.

"Here eat I can't eat everything", she takes a spoonful of food and feeds it to him.

"Thanks".

"Who's house is this?", Arian asks him looking around. They were in a living room.

"Ours", he tells her grinning.

"Babe, stop joking around..."

"I am not. They are two identical houses that Mike and I built for you and Mandy. I will show you around after we are done eating".

"I am done".

"No you aren't. Eat".

"I am full, if I eat any more I will explode besides I want to see our house", she begs him.

"Okay, fine".He stands up holding out his hand for Arian to take.

"The kitchen first, I want to see it first", she tells him walking beside him.

"Mike was right. You and Mandy are so much alike that is scary in a way...."

"Do you want to sleep on the couch with Mike ? He would be a great company", she huffed.

"Crap, I didn't mean it in a bad way, babe", he hugs her.

"Fine but you owe me ice cream and no, I am not sharing with you", she kissed him on the cheek.

"I will give you everything you want", he carried her in his arms to their bedroom.

"Put me down, Liam".

"Okay. This is our bedroom. Why don't we spend the night here?", he suggested to her.

"We didn't pack anything. No clothes nothing".

He took her to their closet and showed her their clothes and things that were already unpacked.

"So no more excuses. You can use the bathroom and I will get dressed here", Liam tells her.

"Thank you and I love you Liam so much", she tells him while hugging him.

When someone falls in love with you, they love everything about you every flaw, every insecurity you have. That's true love.
