Almost everyday Foolish would say he was going to a friend's house, sometimes eating dinner there and staying the night. Puffy wanted to know about his friend, but Foolish was pretty vague.
She stopped asking at one point, knowing it just annoyed him and she wouldn't get any more information.
However, one day when he got back home and the three were eating dinner, Puffy noticed something different.
"Hey Foolish, nice hickey."
Foolish's eyes widened. "I- um, what are you talking about?"
"Cut the act. Will you finally tell me where you're going every day?"
"I told you, a friend's house."
"Mhm, a "friend". I need to know about them now."
"I..I'll just invite them over." Foolish sighed, rubbing his neck.
That night Sam and Ponk agreed to come over, so the next day before dinner time they arrived. They knocked on the door and expected Foolish to open it, so were surprised to see a tall blond boy.
"Hello? Wait," Dream turned around, not moving his feet and yelled, "FOOLISH GET OVER HERE!"
A few moments later Foolish emerged. When he saw his boyfriends he smiled and waved. Dream let them in and closed the door, following everyone into the dining room.
Foolish sat next to Sam, Ponk next to him. He looked nervous, waiting for Puffy to come in. They talked, Foolish a bit quieter than normal, when Puffy came in holding a large bowl.
You could see the initial shock in her face seeing two people instead of one for a second before it went away, replaced with her scanning the two.
"Mom, Dream, these are my boyfriends Sam and Ponk."
Dream greeted them while Puffy continued looking at them, probably trying to figure out if they were trustworthy. Foolish noticed this and sighed, exasperated.
"Mooooom! They're nice!"
Puffy sat down, and softened her gaze, still looking at them before speaking.
"What are your names?"
"I'm Sam and this is Ponk. Nice to meet you!"
She finally looked away, accepting that they did seem nice so far. Everyone got their food and started eating, conversation flowing nicely.
Puffy warmed up to them and was acting like her normal self, laughing and joking around. They were nearing the end of their meal when Puffy decided to poke a little fun at the trio.
"So, which one of you made the hickey?"
Foolish groaned and put his head in his hands, very embarrassed, while Sam and Ponk looked at eachother and back to her with an awkward smile on their faces.
