Epilogue #1 (Scar + Cub)

Cub and Scar watched Stress fly off in surprise.

"I guess she needed a break after everything that happened in the arena," Cub said.

"Well, that does give us time to record the commentary!" Scar cheerily picked up Jellie and walked along the bridge system to the announcers' tower.

Cub followed, a bit worried about Stress, but quickly shook off the feeling.

Jellie squirmed out of Scar's arms indignantly and shook herself. She stalked into the recording room, sat on top of the cannon, and refused to move.

"Jellie, you have to move! I can't fire the cannon when you're sitting there," Cub chuckled.

Jellie stubbornly refused to move, lashing her tail and meowing.

"What do you want, Jellie?" Scar asked. "Ohhh, I'm sorry for picking you up."

Jellie, satisfied, leaped off the cannon and onto her cat tower.

"Alright, let's start recording," Cub said, setting up the camera and microphones before moving to the cannon and preparing it for firing.

Scar moved in front of the green screen. "Welcome back to the Hermitcraft Hunger Games! Today we see a victor, but before we say who it is, let's review today's events! The day began with the walls closing in, forcing the contestants together. Grian, Mumbo, and Iskall came face-to-face with Bdubs, Wels, and False. Iskall revealed that he had promised Bubs to betray Mumbo and Grian, but chose not to betray them, so False killed him as revenge for not joining her, Wels, and Bdubs. Then, Wels decided to betray False after she tortured Grian-" Scar winced, paused, and took a deep breath.

Cub took up the slack and Scar gave him a grateful glance. "False and Wels went against each other, which ended in False killing Wels. While they were battling, Bdubs went and tortured Grian as well..."

Scar picked up the narrative again. "...so Mumbo killed Bdubs as revenge for torturing Grian. Then, False killed Mumbo and tortured Grian badly. Okay, moving away from that, Xisuma and Stress came to the scene and scared False away. They comforted Grian and the three stayed together for a few hours, but then False came back. Xisuma attempted to hold her off, resulting in his death, but vainly as False went after Stress and Grian. False finally killed Grian, causing Stress to angrily wrestle False's sword out of her hands and use it to kill False, leaving Stress the victor!"

"After today's bloodbath, we had seven deaths," Cub said, walking over to the cannon.

"Grian,"

BOOM.

"Mumbo,"

BOOM.

"Iskall,"

BOOM.

"Bdubs,"

BOOM.

"Wels,"

BOOM.

"Xisuma,"

BOOM.

"And lastly, False."

"Congrats to Stress and- Cleo what are you doing here?" Scar was interrupted by Cleo bursting through the door.

"Excuse me, I just need to say, False we need to talk, and also Joe you'd better be heading to Grian's base right now if you value your kneecaps. You know what, False your kneecaps are in danger as well if you don't come here right now. Understood? Alright, that's all I wanted to say, thanks," Glancing at Cub and Scar's slightly shocked faces, she added, "Oh, I know everyone watches this, so they'll get the message. Quit staring." Then she left.

"So... after that interruption, which, Joe and False, I'd do what she says, congrats Stress and that concludes the Hermitcraft Hunger Games!" Scar concluded.
