42: His Little Tour Guide

"Fun fact: Cancun has the longest underwater cave in the world. It's amazing to go snorkeling, Nico maybe we should go one day. Everyone's welcomed, of course."

She turns to us in the back of the small tour bus and we nod, knowing that she only meant Nico.

"It only took her 15 minutes to go from Nicholás to Nico. Did you see that? What was the point of us coming on this tour if it was only meant for him."

Hazel says behind me and I try to contain my laughter.

"Leave Nico's tour guide alone. She's nice and she seems to have good intentions. We should be happy for him. It seems like we're witnessing the beginning of their love."

I tell her and she groans, "You're right, it's just her I'm so in love with Nico voice is so annoying. Why can't she just speak normally?"

"You do the same thing around Isaiah, we don't shut you up", Theo says from next to me and Hazel shows him her middle finger before sitting back down.

"I do not", she mutters and looks to Isaiah, whose pretending he didn't hear Theo's remark.

She parks the bus at Dolphin Beach and Sam runs out of the bus like a little child.

"Come on you guys!"

He shouts, grabbing his towel and bag from the back and we proceed behind him.

"Volleyball?"

Isaiah asks and we all agree, ready to start a game.

A week had pass staying in Cancun. Everywhere was beautiful. Almost every day was a new adventure, shopping at different vendors, heading to beaches, exploring caves.

Tonight Theo was taking me on my first date. 

I still didn't have any information on it. No one would give me a clue of the place or even how I should dress for the occasion. 

"I'm so excited for you! I think you're going to have a good time."

Hazel tells me and I sigh, "I'm stressed, Hazel. I'm actually pretty sure I have gray hairs growing just trying to figure out what dress to wear."

"I don't know why you good in all of them. I didn't realize you bought that many outfits."

Isaiah allowed me to steal Hazel and his room for the night so I could get ready.

I'm supposed to meet Theo downstairs at 8 for our date but I was standing in a pile of clothes with none of them looking appealing to me.

"Look, take a deep breath. The yellow dress is beautiful and it compliments your skin. We're going to straighten your hair and you'll wear it down. You'll look amazing, Theo will die from your beauty and the date will be a success, okay?"

I pick up the yellow dress, holding it against me as I looked in the mirror, "Are you sure?"

"Yes. I'm sure. He loves you either way. You could walk out in sweatpants and a baggy shirt and that poor man's heart will still flip, now come on Isa."

I laugh at that, hugging her and putting on the dress. 

She was doing my hair when Ivey called.

"Hey sis, I heard tonight is the night."

"Hey Ivey, yeah tonight is the night. Tell me about you, how's the baby, how's William?"
