Thank you so much for reading my book, Him, I truly appreciate it!

It's been an amazing journey that must come to its end.

This book was actually the first book I did on Wattpad.

I was 14 at the time, and the characters used to be in high school. Theo used to be Ramone, James used to be Isaiah and Mona used to be Monica.

I wanted an older, more mature group of people with some of the same foundation as the first ones.

I loved the first draft of this book and found it hard to part with, especially since I had readers who read the original one and supported it from the beginning, but I also knew I could do better.

I'm still trying to do better and I'm glad that I could take all of you along for the journey.

Starting out, this book had 400 reads max and I had unpublished the whole book for years, not knowing what to do.

Now I have 7k and hopefully still going.

You all helped a black girl who was afraid to write and be judged for her books. You helped give me a platform and for that I cannot say thank you enough.

I am now 21 and Him is now completed.

I know I have more books ahead of me and I hope that you'll stay with me on my writing journey.

Some of my draft books will be dusted off soon, so look out for alerts.

Also, I want to say to Black people everywhere, to people of color everywhere, I see you, I love you and I'm rooting for you.

Don't let anyone define you, be your own kind of beautiful.

To my non-black friends and readers, thank you for giving my book a chance.

For the Isabella's out there who are scared of love and new beginnings, you and me both, I know we'll make it, one day at a time.

It might be hard but great love will come.

To the Theo's in the world, thank you for your love and kindness towards others.

To love someone is amazing, it's powerful, but to fall in love with your friend, is taking on the big risk of fear and rejection.

You love someone, already knowing all their flaws and that isn't something everyone is capable of doing, remember that.

For the ones finding it hard to find love, start with yourself. Love yourself each day, share the love with the ones around you, and love just might come back.

Love, it's a tricky thing. Scientists have studied it, poets have written about it, artists have drawn it, and singers have songs but it's different for each person.

I'm not an expert at it myself.

All I can do you hope that you find a wonderful love and that they never let you go.

Thank you again for reading, and thank you for being you.
