"You sleep like a pig."

Someone whispers in my ear, and I grab a pillow, throwing it over my head.

"Come on little sis, you don't wanna say hello."

I groan, shifting again.

If there was one thing I hate, it was being awakened in my sleep.

"Ivey, leave the poor girl alone. College students don't get sleep."

See, Will understands.

Of course, my sister isn't interested in listening to him and proceeds to jump on top of me.

"Wakey wakey, get the hell up!"

I take the pillow, swinging it to her head

"DON'T BOTHER ME WHILE I SLEEP!"

I yell, whacking her a couple more times before throwing the pillow aside.

"Damn babe, she got you good."

She rolls off of me, holding her head as if I really hurt her and I get up.

"Will, nice to see you. I wish I could say the same to your fiancée."

He laughs, coming to hug me.

"It's good to see you too, I'll leave you alone to get ready."

I nod and he leaves, and I turn back to my sister.

"Why are you looking at me like that? You should know me by now", she says defensively, and I laugh.

"You think William would want to join our games this year?"

"I don't know, he's usually busy checking with his gallery. Who are we going to get to play for the other team?"

"Dad didn't tell you, he's working every day except Thanksgiving."

Her eyes practically bulge out of her head informing me that she didn't know.

"They're doing that bad? I thought he just left to run some errands or something."

I shrug, plopping on the bed.

"I don't know the full extent of the issue but both he and Mr. Robertson has convinced me that they'll be okay."

"Alright, no point of worrying about it. If I can't get Will to join, you can always call Isaiah."

Isaiah didn't live far but he wasn't close either.

To get to him and Hazel was a 45-minute drive.

Plus, they usually had their things with their families going on anyways. After all, it was a holiday break.

"Let the games begin!"

My aunt shouts and we split us, running around the house.

The first game was a scavenger hunt.

To make sure no one was cheating, we called in my Aunt Diana.

She would either keep scores, hide things around the house, or help set up.

Diana Jacobs is a stay-at-home proofreader for many publishing companies. Her husband, Landon Jacobs is a construction engineer and had a busy schedule. It's a miracle that I see him at all.

My mom and her sister are identical twins and my dad loved to make the joke of how he hoped he married the right sister, and they didn't trade places with one another.

Of course, to this, no one ever laughs.

I was looking for the third item on the list, dresses, jeans, and a stained tee...look for these and you'll find what you need...
