1- "Why?"

― Jeons house ―

"What the hell, dad?" The black-haired man's voice echoed around the silent room as his parents looked at him in shock.

"Jeon Jungkook, language. He is your dad." Mrs. Jeon said very sternly, still shocked at her son's outburst. Mr. Jeon sighed, as he already expected this reaction. 

"Jungkook, I said what I said. You are getting married to Mr. Manoban's daughter. You already know her, right?" He said, in a calm tone, although the atmosphere in the Jeons living room was far from calm.  

"Yes, I know Lisa but I can't marry her. Not when I have a girlfriend." Jungkook said, his voice down a little, but his anger was evident in it. "Tsk girlfriend as if." Mrs. Jeon mumbled slightly to her husband, not letting her son hear it. That would cause another chaos, which is not a great option right now.

"This is a contract marriage, I told you already, son. Only for 6 months, until both the companies' stocks are up." Jungkook angrily mumbled something under his breath, as his father's words registered in his head. "But why do you want me to get married for that?" Jungkook tried to argue with his father, but in vain. "Jungkook, you know the rules and ways of how this works. You must marry her." "I could just marry Mia then, right? It works that way too?" Jungkook hopefully asked his father one last time. "No it doesn't work that way. Its already decided and Mr. Manoban also agreed to it." Mr. Jeon said, quite firm but still calm as he sat down in the living room couch. 

"What about Mia, dad? How can I tell her this?" Jungkook asked, hint of sadness in his voice as he sat down next to his father. "I'm quite sure she won't mind it." Mrs. Jeon said knowingly, as her husband smiled at her, hearing the words. Jungkook looked at his mom with a 'what do you mean' face. Mrs. Jeon quickly added, "If you explain the seriousness of this, I'm sure she won't mind."

"You know what, you can be with your girlfriend once we go to New York." Mr. Jeon said, giving a slight look at his wife, both contemplating whether its the right thing to say or not. Jungkook's eyes lit up. "Really? You'll let me?" He asked, as his parents nodded slightly. Jungkook smiled, for the first time since he came home a few hours ago.

  "So, you agree to the contract?" His dad asked again, with hope. The smiled disappeared from his face as he frowned and answered in an uninterested tone. "Its not like I have a choice, so yes. Only because you promised to allow me to be with Mia after 6 months." His parents smiled slightly, yet there was a hint of sadness. 

― At the Manobans ―

"WHAT!? Dad you can't be serious right now." Lisa looked at her parents in shock, still in disbelief at her dad's words. No way he just said that. "I am, Lisa. You are getting married to Jeon Jungkook." Mr. Manoban repeated his words, and Lisa repeated her reaction. 

"But but, he already has a girlfriend!" Lisa said, while her parents looked at each other and smiled. "I'm sure his parents talked about it to him and I'm sure he agreed too." Mrs. Manoban said, as Lisa frowned. "The Jungkook I know would never do that." She said in a low voice, although her dad heard it.

"Dear, its a contract marriage. You guys are free to go on your own ways after 6 months." Her dad explained again, as Lisa let out a huge sigh. "No way.. oh my god." "Lisa dear, just for 6 months? You wouldn't do that much for your parents?" Her mom asked in a soft voice. "Mom, don't try to emotionally blackmail me." Lisa said, giving a slight glare to her mom. 

"What about my classes?" She asked. "You can still attend them after marriage." Mr. Manoban replied to her question. Lisa groaned. "Argh fine, its not like I have a choice. I agree to the contract." She said, upset with the turn of events. Her parents smiled at each other, hoping this would be for the better.

― A week later ―

Jungkook and Lisa are already married. They live together now. Jungkook doesn't talk much with Lisa and always hang outs with his hyungs and Mia. Meanwhile, Lisa is upset at Jungkook's behavior. To lessen her sorrows, she hang out with her unnies.

― Jungkook's and Lisa's House ― 

"Jungkook, why aren't you talking with Lisa much?" Namjoon asked, curious at the younger's behavior to his wife. "You know well that it makes her sad. She always on phone with Jennie or the others, complaining and upset about you ignoring her." Taehyung added on, as Jungkook let out a sigh and looked up from his phone. 

"Hyung, its not that I'm ignoring her. I just don't feel like talking to her always. Plus, I have a girlfriend." His hyungs looked at each other at his words, but didn't say anything. "Besides, she's just a contract wife. Its okay if I don't pay much attention to her." 

" You know that makes her sad." Taehyung said.
" Hyung, I just don't feel like. And also I already have a girlfriend." Jungkook answered. But his voice was off and strange, especially when he said girlfriend.
" What's up with you kookie? You don't seem to be in your self
today.. "Jin said.
" BTW, where is your 'Girlfriend'???" Yoongi asked, emphasizing the word girlfriend.
"Mia said she needs to meet someone.(Jungkook sighs) She's been ignoring me for the past few weeks."
His hyungs looked at each other.
" Do you think..." jimin started.." she would be.." He stopped when he saw Jungkook expression. He didn't want his younger brother to feel upset.
" Jungkook, why don't you ask her?" Hoseok said.
Jungkook lets out a huge sigh...
" Nevermind" Hoseok mumbled.

At the Park

"Hm....Lisa?" Jennie called out.
"Yes?"
"Do you still love him?"
Lisa turned to face her.
"Huh? What's with the sudden question. Yes, I still do...its just that......"
"Just what?" Rosé asked.
" I just don't know. I feel like I should let him go cause he obviously don't like me. And also he's got a ' girlfriend'..." Lisa said lowering her head. " Why can't he like me...?" She frowned, her head still down.

Jisoo sighed and looked at her. She called, "Lili," Lisa looked up. "Do you know how Jennie and Taehyung got together?" Lisa shook her head. " Well, you wanna know?" Jisoo asked. "Yes, of course" Lisa said, her eyes shinning. 

"Well, to begin with.." Jisoo was cutted. "YAH!!!!! ITS MY LOVE STORY.....I AM THE ONE WHO IS SUPPOSED TO TELL IT!!!" Jennie yelled

"Fine, but don't shout you idiot, it's a park!!"Jisoo said. Jennie just rolled her eyes playfully. "Unnie, tell me...." Lisa whined. "Argh..fine..." Jennie pauses and smiles. "It all started........"
