28 - I Love You

Lisa rushed to the park, her heart beating excitedly. Jungkook's there. Or, its just a wild guess on her part. But she knows, park is the only place Jungkook would go when he's upset. 

And Lisa knew he was upset about something, or else he would have told his hyungs where he is going. He always does.

Lisa looked around, but was unable to spot the man she wants to. She walked on slowly, but stopped when she finally saw him. She smiled and walked towards him. 

Jungkook too saw her from afar, and his heart beated happily. At least, she came to see him. 

"What do you think you're doing?" She asked him as soon as they came face to face. "Huh?" Jungkook was totally confused by her question. 

"Why didn't you tell anyone where you're going?" Lisa asked. "I- err.." Jungkook scratched his nape. "What are you doing here?" Lisa didn't let him answer and asked again, raising her brow. "Err...fresh air" Jungkook answered. 

"Pftt. Fresh air." Lisa mocked him as she kept her hand on her hips. She turned to her side and looked at the front. Jungkook followed her. 

"The letters.." Lisa started, a bit shy, as she sneakingly glanced at the man beside her. He had a smile on his face, but didn't say anything.

"Did you mean everything what you wrote?" She asked, now completely turning to face him. Jungkook looked at her and smiled. "I did. Each and every word." He said. "I-" Lisa didn't knew what to reply.

There was a silence between them. Awkward. Lisa thought. "Do you still love me?" She asked, wanting to make sure he really meant what he said. "You don't believe me?" He asked her. "Hey, I asked you first!" Lisa shot back. 

"I do." He said softly. Lisa was about to say something when Jungkook said, "But its okay if you don't like me now. I mean, I should expect it, You must have already moved on."  

Lisa's words struck in her throat. This guy here really expected her to move on from him? After loving him for almost 10 years? 

"But just remember that you had always been my first love and will forever remain my last love." Jungkook said, as a memory flashed in his mind.
