The rain poured outside the apartment I was staying at the tropical planet you lived on. I was excited, especially because my boyfriend Cody was coming to visit for two weeks. It had been too long since we last had a good long while together and I was bubbling over with excitement.

The door opened revealing Cody standing there with soaking wet armor.

"Rough day?"

I said with a small laugh.

"You have no idea, I've been waiting too long to see my girl." he smiled at me.

"So, you got any plans for us?" Cody asked.

"I actually do Cody, I actually do."'

"Oh, and what would these plans entail?"

"You'll see."

I gave him a cheeky smile. He raised an eyebrow.

"Should I be worried?"

I giggled.

No, not at all."

He gave me a skeptical look.

"Well I was thinking, we could go out in the rain and basically have a rain bath, the water's warm enough and it'll be fun. I used to do this all the time with my family, we'd go out in the rain and dance, chase each other, and just get soaked."

He didn't even get a word out before I dragged him outside by his hand. I led him to my favorite place on the planet which was a small place by a freshwater creek. The banks of the creeks were littered with shining gold roses. It was more beautiful during the rainy season because the roses seemed to glow due to the raindrops.

"So, what do you think Cody?"

"This place is beautiful, not as much as you though."

"Aww, thanks babe." I gave him a tight hug.

"Hey Cody?"

"Hm?"

"Dance with me?"

He smiled softly.

"How could I say no to that?"

He took my hand and we danced in the warm tropical rain. Gently swaying in sync as we focused on only us, the rain, and the golden roses.

"Hey y/n.

"Hm?"

"Can I try something?"

"Uh, yeah sure."

He then gently took my face in his hands and kissed me softly. I returned the kiss and relaxed in his arms. We broke it so we could catch our breaths.

"So, what'd you think Cody."

"I loved it, spending time with you in your favorite place, I loved it."

"I'm glad you liked it."

I stayed in his arms for a while with my head resting on his chest.

"Cody."

"Yeah?"

"Do you think after the war we could have a future together?"

He looked down at me and smiled.

"Of course, after the war we'll be able to be free and maybe start a family together."

I smiled warmly.

"I'd like that."
