Anger.

It didn't take long until this particular feeling sprung up inside his chest.  He wasn't just angry at himself,  but rather the whole world.  Regret being washed away or simmered down by his anger.  He blamed it all on either anyone else or himself.  It's always been like that.  He still refused to go outside the house,  but atleast he wasn't stuck inside his room now.

Rather,  he's resorted to shutting down on the couch with silence surrounding him,  glaring at anything that might've caused a sound.  If ever he found another human being near him,  he'd snarl and see if they were going to replicate what he did.  If they do,  an argument would bust out.

At first, George considered himself to not be at fault. He shouldn't be blaming himself since he wasn't the reason why he's gone. He wasn't the one who chopped down his head.  He wasn't the one who ruined him and that was enough for him to argue with the other two inhabitants of the house.  The two clearly weren't expecting it,  one yelling back at him and continuing the argument while the other opted to stay sympathetic for him, clearly thinking about his emotions rather than his own.

Sapnap always wanted him to move on,  yelling that Dream wasn't worth to pin down on.  To get this aggressive on, but George resorted to using the 'You don't know the memories we've had' card, which genuinely ticked off the other as he knew he was slightly pushed away by his two friends just for the other.

If he wasn't,  he wouldn't have been with Karl and Quackity, looking for acceptance of a group that wouldn't leave him out all the time.

Karl,  on the other hand,  felt sorry for George.  He knew how hard it was to lose a loved one,  especially one that he deeply relied on.  He chose to think about that rather than argue with him about the topic,  because unlike Sapnap,  he really didn't know about the memories the two shared.  As much as he hated to admit it,  he didn't really know what went on between the two as he was mostly focused on other stuff. He wasn't this close to them before.

So,  as much as he wants to say he knows what he's going through,  he really doesn't and he doesn't want to use George's vulnerable state with any lies or empty promises.  It just wasn't fair for him.  He's already had enough on his plate.

Before George locked himself in his room, the two agreed with eachother to stay with him, to help him feel better, hence why they've been staying inside the house with him.

When they saw him go out of his room,  they were more than relieved to see he was still okay,  but felt their stomachs drop with how tired he looked.  He almost looked like he hasn't slept at all.  They immediately set off to work,  trying to convince him to sleep,  but all they were met with were harsh words that Sapnap still hasn't gotten over with.

This wasn't the George he knew.

Unfortunately,  he was correct.  The George he knew was always sleeping. That part was already enough for him to worry,  but with how he was acting, it really made him believe that his other best friend was lost.

Lost in all the hatred the he held inside him right now.

Sapnap wasn't okay with the situation as well since he also lost a friend, but he knew that this was happening and accepted to branch away from him.  George didn't follow in his steps and continued to hope for his return,  hoping that he'd come back to him in the same way before.

Sapnap didn't want to admit it,  but he was partially hoping for the same too.  He didn't want to lose his friend as well,  but his acceptance made him feel more alright than the brunet. He wasn't that hurt with the death,  but he did feel a tad sad.

After all,  he was still a good friend back then.  Sadly,  he just had to go and change for the worse.

Almost everyone saw that and no one had a choice but to end his reign over the land.  Everyone was going haywire with all the things he was doing to them,  appearing in their dreams or worse memories.  He just found a way to slip in through everything and everyone wanted out.

Even his own mother couldn't handle it anymore.  They were shocked to see her agree to something as drastic as this.

Truth is,  everyone in the smp decided to meet in one place to discuss the matter about the prisoner, everyone being huddled close to someone else with all of the painful memories that they've brought throughout their lives. Tensions were in the room, but they had to push on with the more important topic.

Everyone but George was there.  We couldn't afford to talk about this with him in the room. Everyone silently agreed that it was for the better as the aforementioned man would most likely disagree with them.

As soon as execution was mentioned as an option,  Tommy looked up and immediately wanted everyone to take it,  desperately trying to get ride of the green clad man that haunted him till the end.  They couldn't blame the child for wanting to get rid of him as he was the one that lost all his lives and went through hell and back just because of him.

Quackity was the next to agree, seeing the fragile state of his friend. He wanted the book,  yes,  but Tommy's mental health was more important than that. The difference between Quackity and Dream is that one isn't heartless and cared for the other.

In that note, Karl was the next to agree,  siding with Quackity and Tommy which pushed everyone else to agree.  Wilbur being the only one not wanting to, but indefinitely giving in as he watched Tommy break down.

Sapnap was the second to last to agree,  being hesitant with everything.  With George's feelings and mental health constantly on his mind as this played out,  it was difficult to agree on the spot.  He couldn't just push the brunet's thoughts out of my mind as he was still his friend and he was there when he needed him the most.  They both stuck together when Dream left us. He wasn't heartless and he did care for his feelings,  but he's had enough of thinking about them first rather than himself.

Puffy was the last to agree,  the whole table thinking that she wouldn't as she was silent the whole time until that very moment.  She agreed with tear stained cheeks being prominent as her shaky voice rang out with her statement of agreement.

Everyone in the smp agreed to execute him.

That thought alone just sent George into a mass of fury.  It didn't help that he wasn't aware of this at all until the very end.  He was betrayed and the feeling of being left out once again didn't help his case. He was supposed to be part of this. He was a good friend to the blond, why wasn't he there in the meeting?

He found out about the meeting when Sapnap confessed about it the day prior of him going out of his room, him feeling betrayed and angry at the fact that they all kept this from him just because they already know what his decision was.  Even Wilbur was there and he was a villain!  Why did he have a chance?  Why didn't he? It was unfair and even though George was slightly happy that Sapnap was considerate of his feelings,  his anger and betrayal washed that happiness away as he realized that Sapnap was the first to say that he didn't want him in the meeting.

So, he cut himself off from everyone.  The betrayal was too much and he couldn't trust anyone anymore.

He didn't cut himself off like Dream did.  Just opting to keep to himself while everyone was having fun and calm times. It didn't help that the two in the house left him be from time to time.  They thought he needed time,  but in reality,  he needed someone to convince him out of his shell in a more nicer way than Sapnap does.  No screaming.  No exchange of hurtful words.  Just someone that understands his situation in a calm manner to help him out of his false reality.

He just wanted his world back to normal again.
