"What?" A blonde haired man suddenly asked as he turned around to his brunet companion that stood straight with confidence, the previous request of his confusing the blonde.
A few days back, both talked about what to do with the new, blossoming country that stood disagreeing and disbanding from the smp, annoying the blonde and the brunet which made them both agree to start a war between the two.
But now, the brunet in front of him was taking his word back, now disagreeing with the idea of war.
"I said we shouldn't continue with the war, Dream."
It was all so sudden to the blonde considering that the other was so determined to end the other country for good and take it down once and for all that it confused him to no end. Why the sudden change of heart?
"Why? I thought we agreed on this." He argued back, thinking that he was on the right with this situation. The brunet merely shook his head, forcing himself to disagree.
Truthfully, George fully agrees with the idea, but only because it was a major part of history that he can't change. If it wasn't such a major event, he would've already never agreed to this in the first place. This argument happened however, before the blonde and his ravennete friend convinced him to join war with them.
"We did, but I visited them yesterday which made me change my opinion." He reasoned out, shrugging at the sort of white lie that he threw out. He could care less if the country would fall. It would fall in the future anyways in the hands of their own leader.
"What?"
Dream wasn't aware of the visit that took form yesterdsy which made him question his best friend even more, wondering if he was about to lose him to the other side. That wasn't ideal at all as it would mean they'd have to fight eachother just for a stupid country. It would most likely end with L'manberg being the victorious one if that was the case.
They can't have George on their side. He was his only weakness here.
"You heard me." The brunet sassily replied, knowing full well where this would end up. The visit was a new thing to add, but the argument was just a carbon copy from what he remembered months back.
All he knew was that he wasn't taking this seriously before, opting to annoy the other into agreeing with him.
That didn't work out, obviously. Dream was quite persistent and convincing.
The response however elicited an eye roll from the aforementioned blonde, arms crossing as he leaned on one leg to tell his best friend that this wasn't as serious as he sounds like.
If only both knew where this was getting to before.
"I did. I did hear you loud and clear." He finally replied, teasingly might I add.
"Good. You don't have problems with your ears at all."
The blonde jokingly scoffed at that before his eyes returned to its serious state.
"But really. What made you change your mind?" He prodded on, wanting to know the reason.
"As I said, I visited them yesterday and they seemed pretty chill."
'Pretty chill. Sure. Nothing's chill with Tommy or even Wilbur at their side.' Both thought with an eye roll from the brunet at his own reasoning.
The action was deemed unnoticed by the blonde however, leaning back against a wall instead as he looks at their table where the plans were held. They were just about waiting for Sapnap to come until George dropped the statement this conversation started on.
The brunet was glad however that this wasn't like the argument they had back then. That was quite the event.
" 'Pretty chill'? They're literally building a wall around a van." The blonde pointed out, snickering at the slight idiocy of the statement.
"Well, that van is considered a country so I don't blame them."
"True true." Dream sighed out in defeat as he stood up properly now, leaning forwards to the table.
"What do we do with this then?" He questioned, gesturing to the war ideas they all made against them.
George shrugged, thinking of a way to make the blonde disagree with him.
He opened his mouth before shutting it close when a large slam of the oak door resonated around the room they were In, giving eachother confused glances.
Their confusion was answered when their ravenette friend Sapnap appeared While grumbling about something.
"They didn't give me the drugs again! I swear!" He yelled out, slamming his hands on the table which made the contents on top of it shake slightly which made Dream glare at him.
"Well you obviously aren't the greatest one to be involved with something like that." He mumbled out, watching his friend scratch at his head from frustration.
"Calm down before you tear your hair out." The brunet finally spoke out after watching Sapnap look at their war plans that stayed on the table.
"When are we even starting this crap? It's been weeks since we finished planning this!" Sapnap asked as he darted his eyes to the supposed leader of their group who only sighed out.
"Never. George doesn't want us to go to war." The leader shrugged out which irritated the other more, looking away from the table for a moment and scourging through a chest.
"What?! Dude, seriously?! I thought we already agreed on this?!"
"Well yeah, but I visited them yest-" George was cut off by a loud slam of the table which alerted the blonde to look back at them.
"To hell with visiting them yesterday! They're defying us, thinking that they're powerful than us!"
George winced at the word 'Powerful'. His friend not knowing the cause of the word. It wasn't just a word. It caused people to go crazy.
His blonde friend was soon to be the epitome of that.
"Sapnap, calm down for a moment." His meek voice rang out, trying to be stern to get his friend to listen to him, but he only was dejected as his friend glared at him for even trying.
"Dream! Listen to me! We can't have those little Shits get away with this!"
Dream sighed as he looked at Sapnap, seeing and hearing the desperation from him before looking at George.
The brunet met his gaze as he glanced back at Sapnap for a moment, nodding his head afterwards. He doesn't need to fight back against this.
Although, his mood was a bit dampened since he really wished nothing bad would happen to this.
Finally, the leader went back to the table and nodded as well.
"Alright."
Before he could continue however, his brunet companion turned around.
"Do whatever you wish. I wont be part of this for now. I need to think."
And he accepted.
