22. So Much

Not being in class all day let Kaminari think WAY too much. He was spiralling, way too worried that this sensitivity was coming from him getting pregnant and not just because it had been his first time.

Recovery Girl hadn't seemed worried though, so he shouldn't be worried, right? And he didn't think the condom had broken, and Shinso didn't notice if it did either, so he should be fine, right?

About an hour or two after Recovery Girl dropped by, she came back with some noise-cancelling headphones. Having his hearing go back to a more normal level helped his spiralling brain, even if just by a bit.

Kaminari curled up on the bed, bringing the sheets up over his head. They still had the lingering scent of Shinso, and he was very happy about that. It helped soothe his racing brain.

The omega must have fallen asleep because when he opened his eyes again Shinso was sitting at the desk with a book in his hands. "Hito?" Kaminari asked quietly, not fully awake or processing who was with him.

Shinso looked up from his book and smiled softly, humming in response. "Are you feeling better?" He asked.

Considering Kaminari could hear him loud and clear with the noise-cancelling headphones still on he had a feeling his senses were still all out of wack. "Mmh the light isn't as annoying, but Recovery Girl gave me these headphones to help with the noise so my headaches gone down thanks to that."

Shinso got up from the desk chair, crawling into the bed beside Kaminari. "That's good," he muttered, kissing Kaminari on the cheek. "Did Recovery Girl have any ideas on why this is happening?" He asked, pulling the omega close to his chest.

Kaminari's cheeks tinted red, remembering the conversation they had had. And now he was once again thinking about the possibility that he was pregnant. "S-she said it was probably because of umm... last night," he explained shyly. "G-genetic reaction."

Shinso had never heard of this sort of side effect, but he'd have to trust the nurse considering she knew WAY more about this stuff than he does. He noticed a worried look on the omega and tilted his head to the side. "Is something wrong?"

"U-umm... well..." just rip off the bandage Kaminari, do it fast. "RecoveryGirlsaidthatsomeomega'shavethisreactionwhenpregnantandnowI'mworriedthecondombroke." (Translation: Recovery Girl said some omega's hand this reaction when pregnant and now I'm worried the condom broke) Too fast Kaminari... you said that too fast.

Shinso only caught a few of those words and was now more confused than ever. "Hey, calm down and try saying that again, ok? I couldn't understand you going so fast like that."

Kaminari nodded and tried his best to calm down. "R-Recovery Girl told me, some omega's have this reaction when t-they get pregnant a-a-and now I'm scared t-the condom b-broke o-or something happened a-and I'm- I'm- I'm pregnant."

Shinso understood him this time... he just didn't know how to process it. "Ok... what did Recovery Girl say about that?" He asked.

"I-I shouldn't worry, but I can't help it, my anxiety isn't letting me just 'not worry' because what if I am and then w-we end up as parents before we even graduate or before you mark me. A-and I'm not ready for that and-"

"Denki, calm down, it's ok, ok?" Shinso said trying to calm him down but also trying to stay calm himself.

"But what if-"

The alpha placed a finger over Kaminari's lips to stop him from talking. "Denks, it's going to be fine, you just need to take a pregnancy test or something right? Then you'll know and you won't have to worry."

"Pregnancy tests don't exactly work after only one day Hitoshi," the omega said. "S-so even if I did, it wouldn't give me a proper answer and-and I wouldn't know u-until maybe three weeks in or something."

Shinso nodded. "Ok..." he didn't know what other options there were to calm him down. "I know you're freaked out," Shinso started. "But I think Recovery Girl was right, I don't think you need to worry. And if it makes you feel better I can buy you a test in a few weeks and we'll figure out where to go from there."

Shinso would love to have kids with Kaminari, but this was WAY too soon. He hoped Recovery Girl was right and they wouldn't have to worry about that.

Kaminari nodded slowly. "Yeah, ok." The omega looked down at his lap. "But... what if the test is positive?" He asked.

Though he was dancing around the question, Shinso knew what he was asking. "I'll be here with you if it is. We'll figure it out together."

Kaminari nodded. "Ok." He looked up at Shinso and smiled softly. "I love you so much Hito," he muttered.

Shinso returned the soft smile and kissed him gently on the lips. "I love you too Denks."

"So much?"

"Yes, so much."
