Kaminari had gained many questions from his class about why he had to wear the headphones and sunglasses. Many of which were shot down because he was trying his best not to think of it. Thinking of why they were needed made him start to spiral and he'd rather not have a panic attack in front of his friends.

Shinso would also stop their classmates from asking too many questions. This was a part of their private life, they don't need to know what happened that made the omega's senses get so drastically intensified.

But soon the day came when Kaminari and Shinso headed to the convent store to buy the dreaded test. As Recovery Girl predicted, Kaminari's senses did start to go back to normal by the third week, but they still wanted to make sure, and Kaminari was anxious, to say the least. His head ran wild while he tried to calm himself down and focus on Shinso's hand as it intertwined with his fingers.

He kept telling himself it would be fine, he kept saying there was nothing to worry about, anything to try and convince himself he wasn't pregnant.

"Denks, you're muttering," Shinso said softly as he squeezed his hand. "I think Midoriya's starting to rub off on you." Kaminari appreciated that he was trying to lighten the mood, but it didn't do much to help.

"S-sorry, just a lot on my mind," he said, taking a deep breath.

The alpha nodded, squeezing his hand softly once more. He could feel the slight shake in the omega's hand as he squeezed it back. "It's ok," he said quietly, gaining a small hum from Kaminari.

The convenience store was empty, minus the guy who was behind the counter, reading a magazine.

They both took one more deep breath before going to find the pregnancy tests, both unconsciously keeping their heads down in hopes that if someone were to come in they wouldn't be recognized.

The last thing they needed was for one of their classmates to come in and ask why they were getting a pregnancy test.

The cashier eyed them from his chair, raising an eyebrow as they came over to pay. Kaminari hid halfway behind Shinso, way too embarrassed to look the cashier in the eyes.

"That'll be (price)," he said tiredly as he rang through the test.

They paid, ignoring the knowing look the man was giving them. "Thank you," Shinso said quietly, taking the test off the counter.

"Good luck," the man responded. Neither knew whether he meant good luck in it being positive or negative, but they took it as him just hoping it was the answer the teens wanted.

"Hito?" Kaminari asked quietly as they left the store, heading back to the dorms. He hummed softly telling Kaminari he was listening. "What if it's positive?" The omega asked, looking down at the small bag that held the pregnancy test.

"We talked about that, we'd figure it out if that's the answer. You shouldn't stress about it till you take it."

Kaminari didn't look up at him, he just nodded a little. "Ok." But he was stressing about it. He was stressing so much. In his head, Shinso wouldn't want to be with him anymore if he were pregnant, and then if or when his friends find out they'd abandon him too, and his parents would disown him, and he would be left alone.

The next 10 minutes were the most stressful 10 minutes Kaminari had had since their entrance exam. He procrastinated taking the test for a few minutes while he paced the washroom, and when he finally did take it he couldn't look.

He held his hand over the small screen that gave the answer and didn't move it.

"Denks? You've been in there a while, is everything ok?" Shinso called through the door. He had waited outside the washroom to give the omega some privacy, and even though he didn't know much about these tests he didn't think it would take this long.

When he was not answered, Shinso opened the washroom door slowly, finding his boyfriend sitting on the ground against the wall with his head on his knees.

"Denks?" The alpha asked again.

"I- I can't look," he said quietly. "I can't look."

Shinso sat beside Kaminari, putting an arm around him. The omega leaned into Shinso's touch, trying his best not to break don't right then and there.

"We can do it together," Shinso suggested, gently taking Kaminari's hand that held the test.

Kaminari lifted his head, his eyes teary but not spilling. "O-ok," he muttered quietly.

They both took a deep breath, Shinso counting down from three before Kaminari opened his hand to show the answer.

Negative.

Kaminari let out a shaky breath he didn't know he was holding, a few tears slipping down his face. All of his emotions hit him at once. "I-it's negative," he muttered.

Shinso hugged him a little tighter, kissing the top of his head and humming softly. "Yeah, it is."

They stayed like that for a while, processing the information. The omega stayed quiet, just staring at the answer. "Is it..." he started, gaining Shinso's attention. He took a deep breath before asking, "Is it bad that I'm a little... disappointed?"

Shinso shook his head. "No, to it's not bad." It was a part of Kaminari's biology, embedded in his DNA, to want to take care of kids. Now that Shinso was thinking on it, maybe that was part of the reason Eri had warmed up to him so fast. Kaminari was an omega, he had a warm presence to him. Comforting, caring, calming, easy to be around and he always wants to help.

Kaminari nodded a little before trying to smile up at Shinso. "It's good though," Kaminari said. "Because I am not ready at all to have a kid." He tried to laugh softly, but it seemed forced. His mixed feeling's about the situation showing through the mask he had put on.

Shinso hugged Kaminari, pulling the omega into his chest. He could see that Kaminari was more than just 'a little disappointed.' They may not be ready for kids but it still hurt to see the negative test.
