5. Doubts

The other night Shinso had asked Kaminari why he had stopped using the nickname he had given the alpha when they first started dating and that question had been stuck in his head. He had no idea why, the only thing he could come up with was that a small part of him (very small) was worried that Shinso would cheat on him. He didn't want to settle in too much until he was 120% sure.

It was a sad thought and he didn't want it to be true but calling the alpha "Toshi" just didn't sound right coming out of his mouth anymore.

Kaminari must have dazed off for too long because the next thing he knew a pink hand was being waved in front of his face. "You good Kami?" Mina asked tilting her head to the side a little.

Kaminari smiled and gave her a nod. "Yep, just thinking."

"Don't hurt yourself," Bakugo muttered.

Kaminari just rolled his eyes and leant his head against Shinso's shoulder who was sitting beside him.

"Hey what you guys up to?" The new addition to their class asked happily coming up to the group.

The air got tense for a moment. Bakugo gave her his usual stair, pulling Kirishima closer to him while Shinso tried his best not to do the same. He had talked to Kaminari and he told him not to worry about it so he was trying not to. But it was very hard ignoring an instinct.

"Nothing really," Mina answer, kicking her feet up on the coffee table. "Wanna sit with us?" She asked smiling. She didn't notice how uncomfortable all of the alpha's and Kaminari were with her presence.

On her first night here Kaminari had caught Takahashi flirting with Midoriya and then later on he had acted like it didn't happen. The whole thing had made Kaminari skeptical of the other alpha.

"How are you finding classes, Takahashi?" Kirishima asked also not noticing how his boyfriend had tensed up and ignoring how the tension in the air was growing thicker by the second.

"The workloads a little much but I'm handling, the teachers are nice though," she said with a smile as she sat beside Kaminari.

"Speaking of homework, I have some that I need to finish before tomorrow," Kaminari said, not liking being beside her. Standing up he pulled Shinso with him. "Come help me," he said trying his best to act normal so his friends wouldn't find it weird.

Shinso didn't argue, he didn't like being in the same area as Takahashi. They said goodbye and Kaminari lead Shinso to his room.

Closing the door behind them Kaminari began to pace. "So I think you were right to be skeptical of Takahashi," Kaminari said walking into his room.

For a moment Shinso was confused. "Didn't you say there was nothing to worry about?" Shinso asked tilting his head a little.

"Well that was before I saw her flirt with Midoriya," Kaminari's said walking back and forth in front of his bed. "I think she was trying to force herself onto him, but then when I asked Midoriya about it he acted as nothing had happened. Almost like it had happened in my head."

Shinso put a hand on Kaminari's shoulder to stop him from pacing and had him sit on the bed.

"And yesterday I think I might have seen her doing the same thing with Tsu but the same thing happened when I tried to ask her about it and I'm just really confused." Kaminari's put his head in his hands. "Why would I be imagining my friends being flirted with someone that isn't their significant other? But if I'm not imagining it then why don't they remember?"

Shinso rubbed his back. "I don't know," was all he could think to say. He knew it wasn't helpful but what was he even supposed to say? "Maybe... theirs something else going on?" That was all Shinso could think to say.

"But what?" Kaminari asked. "What could make them lose their memories, or make me hallucinate it?"

"Maybe you should just stop thinking of it for a while, sometimes the answers come when you stop looking," Shinso said leaning down and kissing Kaminari's neck lightly.

Kaminari glanced over at Shinso "what's that for?" He asked as Shinso placed another a little higher on his neck.

"I'm just showing you affection," he asked smirking slightly. "Get your mind off things."

Another kiss was planted on his jawline making Kaminari laugh a little and try and push Shinso away. "That tickles," he said laughing a little.

"Does it? I didn't know," Shinso said doing it again.

"Yes, you do-EKK!" Kaminari was cut off by Shinso tickling his side. Flailing his legs and trying to push Shinso's hands away from the sensitive spot on his stomach and side he fell back and tried to roll away. Shinso's hands fell on either side of the omega making it so he couldn't roll away. "Jerk," Kaminari said out of breath and trying to push Shinso up off him, though he didn't try all that hard when Shinso lent down and kissed him on the lips.

"I know," Shinso muttered into the kiss. "I'm such a jerk," he continued when he pulled away.

"Yes, you are," Kaminari said crossing his arms and turning his head away in that cute way that Shinso loved. Kaminari's cheeks were tinted red.

Shinso smirked and kissed Kaminari's cheek. "I'm not that bad, am I?" He asked chuckling a little. Kaminari just nodded his head looking back up at Shinso. "You wouldn't be my boyfriend if I were," Shinso said kissing his forehead.

"You're my boyfriend because I can deal with you being a jerk from time to time," Kaminari said in a half teasing tone.

"I make up for it don't I?" Shinso asked looking Kaminari in the eye.

"Only barely," Kaminari joked leaning up to catch Shinso's lips in another kiss. One of his hands taking hold of Shinso's collar and pulling him in closer.

The alpha smirked into the kiss tilting his head a little to deepen it.

A knock at the door made them pull away and look over to see Mina opening the door looking down at a paper in her hands. She looked up and froze for a moment seeing Shinso on top of Kaminari. A small smirk formed on her lips. "Homework Hu?" She smirked.

"Mina!" Kaminari's said embarrassed scrambling to get out from under Shinso. "Wait for me to answer the door next time!" He said.

"Sure, sure," she said still smirking at the two. "Anyway, I was gonna asked if you wanted to work on homework together but I see you're busy so I'll just leave you to it," Mina said turning and heading back to the door.

She closed it and Kaminari hid his face in his hands embraced.

"Well at least she seems to like me again," Shinso said coming up behind Kaminari. The omega looked back at his boyfriend with his 'are you serious right now?' Face.
