I didn't think she would go for it, but Daisy's face melted into a huge grin and she ended up pulling Mars into the fountain with her. She held the crown on her head with one hand as she went under the numerous waterfalls.
"It's freezing Miss." She laughed throwing a wave my way.
"You bet it is." I responded out of breath. "This dress is impossibly heavy wet. But just look at all those wishes at the bottom."
"The pennies?"
"Yes, that's why I love this fountain. It reminds me that everyone is a dreamer that's hoping for more, makes me feel less alone in my illusions."
After that we broke into a fit of laughter and continued to make the water rise over the edges. Even though my skin was littered with goosebumps and my body was aching in place due to the weight of the ball gown, I was happy.
Until this one bitch ruined it all.
"As you can see officer, these woman, have lost their minds." A shrill voice spoke.
I didn't even need to turn around to know who it was.
"Princess please get out of the fountain."
Now that voice was a pleasant surprise. I turned around to see Dox standing next to Janine Peters and fucking Sally. Do these bitches really have so little going on in their life that can loom over the town until I fuck up? Apparently so.
"You do understand that just because she mutters, calling herself a princess, you don't have to call her that?" Spat Janine.
"I know, that's just what I call her." He shrugged extending a hand to me which I took easily.
Mars and Daisy got on either side of me and held my hands. They both looked embarrassed and looked down to their dripping shoes, while I looked our captors in their eyes with a shit eating grin on my blue lips.
"Hey Dox, what's up?"
"You young lady are getting arrested for public indecency." Janine glared as Sally took a step closer to Dox.
"See Maddy, she's trouble. Very improper of a young woman." Sally nodded looping a hand in the crook of his arm.
"Ladies, I'm clearly the best dressed one here," I gestured to my soaked gown, "But if you all want to see me naked so badly, I could put on a show."
All their faces went bright red.
"You're not getting arrested River." Dox started. "None of you are, I just wanted to deescalate the situation. If you get out of the fountain, then the problems solved."
"Why not? Isn't she supposed to be punished? Come on Maddy." Sally pleaded.
"You have a pain kink don't you?" I asked making everyone's face go red again. "You'll make this to easy." I laughed.
"Miss, how about we head home?"
"Sure Daisy, this crowd isn't fun anymore. Farewell you pieces of judgment trash, I'll keep you in mind the next time I shit. Not you Dox, you're still cool."
"Miss!" Hissed Daisy pulling my towards the car.
"You're my inspiration Doll." Mars chuckled beside me.

We got home and I stripped out of my drenched ball gown and stroll up to my bathroom.
I draw the shades on the windows and turn out the lights. A stream of white light illuminates the marble floor.
