"What sum of money will I have to pay to Nicolette?" I questioned while starting to draw a flower on the back of Dox' hand. He pulled away and gave me a confused look while starting to smear my rivaling Van Gogh design. Once I stuck out my bottom lip and reach forward again, he rolled his eyes and gave me back his hand. My little submissive.
"$500,000."
"Really? Wow and I thought mom only screwed her interns." I laughed.
"Ah," He cleared his throat, "Yes it seems your mother worked out that half a million was a enough to cover expenses."
"Your mother was a cheater?" Dox sat a little straighter in his seat.
"Of course, so was my dad. He prefer the loose woman of the town rather than those who worked at his business. Although he was known to have bang at least a few of his friends and clients daughters and wives. Old money does that."
"Interesting." He mumbled.
"So," I turned back to the very uncomfortable man, "are we free to go? Mars needs me."
"Yes Miss Knight. Thank you for meeting me on such short notice."
"Whenever I come out the victor you can bet your ass I'll be there to claim my prize."
I got up from my seat and headed back to my car. Daisy was on the phone to Harry to have him bring the car around front. I had finished my drawing and Dox was eyeing it as we walked.
"What is it?"
"My puss-"
"God help me River Knight if you finish that sentence, I'll beat your bottom red with a spoon!" Daisy yelled.
"Don't tempt me with such a wonderful time." I smiled. "It's actually a hibiscus."
"You like these flowers?"
"Of course. When my mother would have her actual friends over, she served them tea and cookies on white china with pink hibiscuses. When her 'friends' came over, she served them tea and cookies on white china with ivy leaves on them. She treated the ivy like poison ivy."
"So you drew a hibiscus on me because we're friends?"
"Yep. Over the last week you have proven to be a worthy stable boy that not only tolerates my narration and rudeness, but you seem to get a kick out of it also."
"Thanks River."
"You mean thanks Princess." I correct poking his nose.
"I said it one fucking time, learn to let it go." He rolled his eyes.
"You know I won't." I headed to my car. Daisy had opened the door and waited for me to get in. I turned back to Dox who was still staring at my drawing. "You want to come home with me?"
"Where to?"
"You're so easy, you little slut." I laughed climbing into the car. I rolled down the window and stuck my head out. "The girls and I were going to watch rom coms and put together little favors for Mars' wedding in a few days. If you have nothing else going on tonight, come join us."
"No, I got this thing for work."
"That is the last time you lie to me." I say sternly which wiped the playful smile from his lips. "Just say your going on a date with Sally."
"How'd you know it was her?"
"You're too nice to say no." I sighed. "Have fun stable boy, I'll bet you clean up nice."
I rolled up the window and we were off towards my house.

"So not only are you the sexy heir to the Knight fortune, but you are also the unofficial CEO of Knights Nits?" Mars asked while drizzling butter over her popcorn.
