For months I have trained endlessly. The only breaks I took was when I needed to eat and whenever Desmond forced me to sit out as my muscles were sore and aching. Days turned in weeks, weeks turned into months as each of the assassins trained me in a certain skill, Altair being my assessment at the end of the day, testing how much I picked up throughout the day. I couldn't help let out a sigh as winter rolled around, the temperature dropping dramatically, the trees looking dead as they looked almost grey in the cold weather. Jax and Willow seemed to love the temperature change as they stayed outside more watching the horses. Apollo stayed inside the barn most of the time, not liking the cold at all which I can relate to ... I hate the cold.

I was bundled up in a bunch of blankets, sitting on the couch as I watched some TV, the sound of sizzling coming from the kitchen as Rebecca was making breakfast. I wasn't the only one affected by the sudden temperature drop, Altair and Malik were also bundled up, wearing long sleeves as well as a hoodie along with a winter coat. Conner seemed the least affected by the cold as he wore sweats and a tight long sleeve shirt. I'm not honestly surprised as he most likely lived out in the wilderness for most of his life while also fighting battles and two feet of snow.

I let out a light sneeze before reaching out to grab a tissue, my sinuses working up due to the sudden drop in temperature. I wiped my nose, sniffling lightly, "Bless you." Evie stated as she sat down next to me.

"Thank you, I hate the cold for this reason ... and that it's insufferable." I grumbled as I brought my knees to my chest, snuggling myself closer.

Ezio then placed his hand on either side of me as a smirk spread across his lips, "I could heat things up for you~" A small blush along my cheeks as I shrunk into my blanket slightly, my own (e/c) stared into his big brown ones.

"Alright playboy, leave her alone. Geez and I thought you were on good behavior for once." Malik growled, pulling Ezio away from me as he glared at the italian before handing me a mug filled with hot cocoa. "Here this will warm you up."

I smiled, "Thank you." Taking the warm mug from his hands before he sat down on the ground in front of me, being a sort of barrier of keeping Ezio and I apart. I took a small sip, feeling the sweet warm liquid run down my throat, a satisfied smile spreading across my lips, "This is delicious." I complimented, licking my lips.

"Thanks for the compliment, love." Jacob spoke behind me as he leaned on the couch, smiling down at me as I looked up at him.

"Jacob making something good? Now that is unheard of." Evie stated as she took out a sip of her own mug Henry gave to her.

"Oi! Shut it!" Jacob snapped, glaring at his twin. I couldn't help but giggle as the two began to bicker, Malik just rolling his eyes in annoyance. I then began to play with Malik's hair, which he didn't seem to mind, surprisingly, as I continued watching the show taking sips of my hot chocolate every now and then.

I then heard my phone buzzing next to me, I took my hands out of his hair before picking up my phone pressing the answer button, "Hello?" I say, my eyes still trained on the TV. My eyes widened slightly as I heard a familiar voice speak through the phone, sounding joyful and full of excitement before they hung up. I just sat frozen there for a few minutes, "Everything alright belle?" Ezio questioned causing Jacob and Evie to stop bickering. Connor looked up from his book, Malik looking up at me while I sat there like an idiot.

I then jumped up, stepping over Malik as I ran to the room Desmond was staying bursting the door open making him jump from where he was sitting on his neat bed, looking through his phone. "My parents are coming over." I say in a panicked tone.

"What?" Desmond questioned looking at me confused, not hearing me the first time.

"My parents are coming over!" I say, this time much louder than before.
