"Are you sure he didn't hurt you!?" Ezio questioned as his grip tightened on my shoulders. We are currently in our condo that I rented out so we don't have to rent out multiple rooms in a hotel. Everyone was tense, Altair and Malik decided to sit on the roof as a look out. Haytham and Shay are just outside the door keeping guard, with Rebecca outside with them as well as she begins to install a camera. Jacob, Evie, and Henry went out to patrol the area to make sure they weren't followed, while everyone else stayed inside the condo pacing, looking out the window, or interrogating me.

I let out a sigh, "Ezio I am fine. He didn't even threaten me nor seemed threatening." I spoke, trying to reassure him. He looked so frightened yet angry all at the same time almost as if he knew first hand what that man was capable of. "Was he a templar of your time?" I questioned, looking right into his big brown eyes, watching them cast downward as Ezio let go of my shoulders. "He was, wasn't he? The templars you all saw were from your own times, that's why you freaked out." I question further looking around the room, specifically Arno and Edward.

"Fortunately for us two our templars didn't show up." Arno stated, gesturing between him and Edward.

"I wasn't officially an assassin when I went after my templars." Edward stated with a shrug. "I only cared about the gold during the time, then later they made it personal."

Arno nodded, "I was an assassin however during the French Revolution we pretty much had a truce with the templars. A few people on both sides ruined it." I nodded, the French Revolution was and still is one of the most confusing wars in history, the day in history there was a grey line. Both sides were wrong yet right at the same time.

I looked over at Ezio whose hands were trembling, I then looked over at Desmond who shocked his head. Telling me not to question further as his eyes shone with sympathy for the italian assassin. "Alright. Who else came back?" I questioned looking over at Edward and Arno.

"Charles Lee." I look over seeing Connor walking down the spiral staircase, anger raging in his eyes. "My father told me he saw him. Lee tried to get Haytham and Shay to join him." He stated further as he walked over to my side.

"I never would've thought Charles Lee would be a templar ... but it sort of makes sense in a way." I replied as I looked out the window in thought.

"I saw Robert de Sable, he is part of Altair's and Malik's time." Arno added, my eyes remaining on the outside world watching people bustle about, looking almost like little ants crawling around. "I don't know the other one. All I know is that he is part of the twins and Henry's time." He added as I gave a small nod.

"Alright, I'll get a plane ticket ready." I say as I tore my eyes away from the window, before walking up the stairs and into the room I was staying in. I zipped open my backpack, pulling out my laptop, pulling up the airlines I booked to return home. I honestly was hoping to have a little vacation here, but templars just had to ruin it. How did they even come back to life anyway? Was it Abstergo? Did they find a precursor sight or something?

I froze as realization hit me, I looked down at the pendant around my neck as a small glow emitted from it. The words of what the book said about the North Star replayed in my head, "The wish comes at a cost." I whispered out, repeating the words. I pulled my hands away from the laptop, letting them fall into my lap as my eyes stared blankly at the computer screen. I bit my lip as my mind whirled with thoughts, anxietal chains wrapped around my heart, squeezing it like a constrictor with its prey. I placed my hand over my heart, taking a deep breath through my nose and slowly out my mouth, trying to calm myself.

I forced myself to place my hands back onto the keyboard as I began typing away rescheduling the flight to tomorrow morning. I then glanced over to the box I received from the castle. I picked up the compartment as I examined it further, my brows contouring into confusion as my anxiety lingered. "Belle." I flinched, nearly dropping the box as my grip on it tightened. I whirl around looking right at Ezio, seeing the look of seriousness in his gaze, his playful demeanor disappearing entirely. "Were you able to book the tickets?" He questioned as I nodded slowly in response. "When?"
