Bella's pov:

A feel the air getting sucked out of me when the Great Hall disappears from view. In a second I land on a hard concrete floor. I cough and re-fil my lungs with air. I think I just apperated. That was horrible, why did everyone dream of being able to do it?

"Did you get it?" A voice hisses.

I look up to see an old and tired looking man. His face was sunken and had large bags under his eyes, like he hadded slept in days. His black robes were ripped just like Delphini's and his white hair was greasy. Something about his face looked familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it.

"Yup," Delphini responded tossing the spellbook to him.

"Give me my book," I yelled.

The man turned to look at me for the first time since I arrived.

"Why is there a girl here?" The man asked.

"Look in the book," Delphini said arms crossed.

The man opened the book and scowled. "It's blank."

"Only she can read it."

Delphini grabbed the book and once again pushed it in my face.

"You're going to tell us what's in this book," Delphini stated.

I reach in my pants pocket for my wand but to my horror, it's gone.

"Don't bother," She scoffed. "I have your wand. Now tell me what's in this book."

"No," I spat.

"How dare you. Crucio." Delphini yelled.

Pain ripped through my body like a knife. I screamed. I had always heard about how bad the Cruciatus Curse was but it was worse than I had imagined. And suddenly, it was over.

"How about now?" Delphini questioned.

I kept my mouth closed.

"Patience Delphini," The man said while putting a hand on her shoulder. "Throw her into the room. Give it some time, she'll talk."

"Fine."

Delphini grabbed onto my hair and pulled me away. She kicked a door open and threw me into a room. She closed and locked the door.

"You can't keep me in here forever," I screamed as I pounded on the door. "Sooner or later my parents and the Ministry will come looking for me."

"Sure kid," Delphini laughed. "Nobody will ever find you here."

And just like that, she was gone, and I was alone.

I could have been in this room for days, weeks, months even, I didn't know. Every day was the same routine. I would wake up and someone would slide a try of porridge under my door. I would gulp down the discussing breakfast and start training. I would do push-ups and sit-ups and practise the very little muggle self-defence moves I knew. Then I would pretend to be sleeping while Delphini or the man dragged me out of my room. They would try to make me talk but I never broke. Someone would cast the Crusiatus curse at me and then throw me back into my room. I was determined to break myself out of this prison but with every curse thrown at me, my body weakened until I could barely lift myself up. I was beginning to lose hope that anyone would ever come to recuse me.

I could tell that Delphini and the man were growing impatient with every passing day. The curses became stronger and the food dwindled. All of a sudden the door opened and the man walked in.

"I'm feeling generous today, you can receive your punishment in here instead of getting dragged out," The man said.

"Lucky me," I responded smartly.

"You will show respect when I am talking to you."

I looked away from him. The man grabbed my chin and forced me to look at him. Suddenly I recognized him.

"Your Lucius Malfoy, Scorpius's grandpa!" I exclaimed.

"Don't speak that name in my presence."

"Please Lucius, Scorpius wouldn't want you to do this," I pleaded.

Lucius's gaze faltered for a second but only for a second as I felt the blinding pain again. He walked away and slammed the door behind him. At that moment, all of the little hope I had left dwindled away.

Not long after that incident, maybe a day, Lucius returned to my room. Except for this time his normally grim expression changed to a look of pity. He came close to me with his arms outstretched.

"Get away from me," I yelled trying to stand but failing miserably.

"It's ok sweetie, I'm here to bring you home," Lucius said.

I didn't protest when he picked me up and carried me out of the room, mainly because I couldn't move. All of a sudden Lucius's face started to change and I recognized the new man instantly.

"Dad," was the last thing I said before everything went black.

Oooh, suspense. Sorry it took me so long to update. I've been working really hard on the avatar story my bestie and I are working on. However, it's with a heavy but also excited heart that I say that this is the second-last chapter. I am hoping to update this before I go on vacation next week so stay tuned for the finale.
