Chapter 103: Boss Yu

The table and the chair Owner Wang left was Zhang Pei’s work desk. Liu Man even gave her a computer to make accounting entry charts.

Because she had to enter and exit from Owner Wang’s staircase every day, Zhang Pei was already very familiar with Owner Wang. Owner Wang knew she was Liu Man’s mother and treated her well. Zhang Pei and the two employees’ meals were all served directly from the kitchen to them by Owner Wang.

Owner Wang said Liu Man had already paid him for one month of meals.

The handsome guy introduced himself in a pleasant voice, “Hello, Auntie. I am the owner of the pet clinic next door, and my name is Yu Zhan. It is raining so heavily, I will drive you back.”

The humble “auntie” and his polite manners made Zhang Pei feel good.

“No, no, no, no, my home is very close to here; it’s only a ten-minute walk.”

“The rain is so heavy, and you will be soaked all over after a few minutes. You can sit in my clinic first, take a sip of hot tea, and wait for the rain to lighten before leaving.

Zhang Pei accepted this proposal, so she followed Yu Zhan to the pet clinic next door.

Liu Man held an umbrella by herself and held an umbrella in her other hand. She rushed over from home to pick Zhang Pei up. She went upstairs to the storage space and found that no one was there. The lights were also off.

Where did her mother go? She didn’t see her mother on the way here.

Liu Man was anxious and subconsciously wanted to go to the next door to ask Yu Zhan about the situation. When she walked to the doors of the pet clinic, he found her mother and Yu Zhan sitting face to face on the small sofa in front of the front desk, each holding a cup of tea.
