(A/N: Ladybug takes Midnight out for a night on the town and the two meet some one near the end.)

Ladybug smiling at Midnight. He was getting something no other hero had gotten, training. Everytime she had given someone a miraculous tailisment it had been in the moment. Of course it didn't hurt that she and Chat Noir had always been there to help save the day. But Jason was going to be wielding the powers of one of the most powerful kwamiis so she felt that it was appropriate that she help Jason. Before she and Adrien had been learning the ropes together. And sure Jason fought crime as Red Hood but having super powers was a lot different than mods and guns.

"Your weapon is your staff. But it's more than just that. You can use it to jump from building to building, lift you, contact me and more. From what I saw with CHat Noir it seemed like your limit was your imagination." If her smile was a little sad she hoped Midnight would not comment on it.

"What about when you were La Dame Chat?" Midnight asked instead. Well you couldn't always win.

"Combining Plagg and Tikki was always my last resort. I only became La Dame Chat once I figured out what I needed her for." Ladybug answered.

"Never fought much with a staff." Midnight admitted. "That's always been Replace.....Red Robin's thing. But I can't imagine using it to travel is all that different from a grappling hook gun."

"Well I've never used a grappling hook gun." Ladybug said in an amused tone. "I had never done anything like this before. I'm pretty sure half of Paris heard my startled screams as I used my yo-yo to swing around." She couldn't help but smile at the memory, it seemed like a lifetime ago when it had only been just a few years. "But now it's like an extension of my body."

Ladybug tried to think about all the things she wished someone had told her. "Another thing you'll need to get used to is your new strength and agility." she explained. "But to be honest that can be a lot of fun." Being the black cat miraculous holder was a lot of responsibility so she wanted to show Midnight the benefits. It was one thing to run around in capes and costumes to fight crime. However it was something completely different to have the power of a miniature god boosting you.

Midnight had to admit that he was still a little inwardly nervous about this hero gig. It had been so long since he had tried to be a good guy. Good....bad....that was Batman stuff. As Red Hood he was able to see that there were a lot of grey areas between the two words. Yeah he was a crime boss but under Red Hood's control Crime Alley had started to see better days. Batman had his rules and Red Hood had his own. And yes people died for breaking his rules but others learned from it. The important part in all of this was he didn't let innocent people die for his rules. That wasn't something Batman could say now was it?

He watched as Ladybug pulled her yo-yo from her hip and started to spin it around. He had to admit she was pretty handy with the thing. "Alright Midnight. Try and keep up." she said with a smile that was a little too close to a smirk for his liking. Before he could say anything in reply her yo-yo went sailing to wrap around something stable on the next building. He didn't understand how it worked but somehow the yo-yo seemed to pull her up and away. "How the hell....." he muttered with a frown. He looked at the staff that was in his hand and tried to figure out how it worked, it didn't seem very long. Ladybug had said he just had to believe and go for it, and well, she was the professional when it came to this magic shit. Midnight had never been a big magic fan but he didn't hate it as much as Batman or Red Robin, their minds were way too logical to easily accept it.

Then without warning the staff extended and Midnight's eyes widened but soon he knew what he needed to do. Backing up a little he ran forward and stabbed at the ground with his staff which launched him upward.
