Ethan Wellington

Another dubious character who is part of the secretive 'Guardians', is one known as Ethan Wellington, who made a vast fortune in the plastics and consumables industry.

From a tender age, Ethan had always displayed a curious mind – venturing out into the forests with a knapsack over his shoulder, while collecting and cataloguing some of the litter he found. He was so intently focused on this hobby, that his mother, often had to drag him out of the woods near their home, kicking and screaming, as she forced him to soccer practice. This aptitude for all things discarded, however, soon followed him to even university, where he started a recycling club, attracting a hundred strong membership within their first year. This club, is where he would eventually meet some of his future business partners; Katy Michaels and Michelle Holder. The trio, having graduated from college with degrees in chemical engineering, saw the gap early on in making bio-degradable plastics. In those days, most companies were still largely dependent on traditional plastics, which were filling up in the seas at a record pace. Ever the seer, Ethan had predicted that within the decade, a new movement would soon sweep across the world, demanding more sustainable ways for producing plastics and other containers. And so, Hurion Consumables was born, a now, multi-billion-dollar company with a footprint in over a hundred countries in the world.

Ethan's ambitions did not stop there, as soon after becoming one of the world's richest men, he ventured out on his own to start a new company, one centered on providing sustainable power solutions for every household. That is when he turned to solar energy, the allure of dominating an industry with few players at the time, too overwhelming to resist. Fast forward a few decades, and today, Solar Flare, Ethan's solar company, not only installs and maintains the most solar panels in perhaps all of the United States, but they have also begun foraying into the local power sectors. With the aid of a few, well-timed crises, Ethan managed to sway the various local communities that solar was the only way to go. And under pressure from their constituents and fearful of a repetition of the winter blackouts, these councilmen granted Solar Flare the rights to their cities' power grids. There, they secretly installed large battery packs, both designed and owned by them.

Now, looking at all of this on the surface, I know that there is a temptation to believe that Ethan's moves were all for the betterment of mankind. But were they really? As we now know, he is a member of the guardians, the very grouping of powerful men (in this world at least), who are placing a choke hold on the world's industries. If you look at the bigger picture, all they are doing is slowly amassing power and influence at the expense of the masses, while requiring you to give up your rights to property. Why? So that in the end, you will go to them and only them, for all that you need.

It probably sounds like a conspiracy theory, coming from a druid, from another world, but oftentimes, it is best to remember that the one who has the clearer picture, may not be from your kingdom. A sort of, seeing better when you are not too close to the frame, kind of situation.

In the grand scheme of things, I trust that all of these men's moves (and others), who may be lurking in the shadows and conspiring away from the limelight, will soon come to the light. And when that fateful day arrives, (forgive me, but I have been overlooked by the people I have been trying to warn for so long, that I cannot contain it any longer), I TOLD YOU SO!
