bzzt bzzt
bzzt bzzt
A phone rings from a distance.
A small suburban apartment in the city, was suddenly filled with animosity in the cold air breeze, it was yet to be another normal night, not after the incident.
bzzt! bzzt!, bzzt! bzzt!
"Come on, come on!"
"its been some time but-"
in the middle of the city stands among one against the crowd, a single soul under distress under a sea of ignorance.
A lady in their late teenage years is to be seen
frantically paranoid and fiddling with their phone is the late city night streets.
a perplexed voice answers, 'Yes hello?'
"Do you know whats in the news?" said in a wavering tone.
'Hey! Jane! how's it be-'
The man was cut off, with a sharp tone of questioning, "do you know about what happend in the news??"
'No.. what about it?'
a pause that silenced the world followed, until a teary eyed Jane muttered, "He's..Dead.".
A man was even more confused to whats happening, said '..wait, whose dead?'.
"_____ comitted suicide"
And at that very moment, the world stood still, time froze, and everything lost meaning and numbness settled in for both parties, tonight was a night where everything changed.
'when was this?'
"i just heard about it, but its about a week old"
'hmph! very funny jane, i didnt even think this was your type of humor!'
"this is not a joke Micah! its real! and he's dead!"
'no, that cant be, thats clearly bullshit'
"Then why would i call you out of the blue?
just for some sick prank?
now will you please get a grip?!"
an infuriated Micah responds,
'it doesnt sound real! it doesnt sound like what he would do! whats your proof?'
Jane sends Micah an article written about _____'s death, a clear outline of the nauseating reality of their situation.
'It cant be.'
A disillusioned Micah disagrees
'No, this cant be real, right?'
'He would'nt just, go without telling us, right?'
'no no no, he's not dead.'
'he cant be! i refuse to!'
A weeping jane in a wavering tone responds
"he's gone micah! he is, dead."
micah in disbelief enrages and throws a fit in his own home.
"NO, HE IS NOT DEAD! MY FRIEND, OUR FRIEND WOULD'NT DO THAT"
a brief pause hanged in the air as Micah sharply inhales.
"Who else knows?"
'the news is relatively new, the rest of the group probably doesn't know yet'
"We should tell them"
'Are you sure?'
"Yes, they also have the right to know"
"He would've wanted us to."
