Chapter 4

LUCIAN'S POV

                        Lupus parked our SUV at our usual place, we got out and started to make our way inside the school with amy at my side smiling as she waved at her friends, lupus with a neutral expression beside her towards my right and Asher and Knight we're at my left who were smirking and winking at the human girls who giggled, I chuckled at them. We lived around the humans just like them but in a community which we call a pack, Vampires and witches to exist but they lived in their clan and coven. Werewolf, Vampire and witches we dint get along much but learned to accept each other just like we do with humans, they don't cross our path or get involved with us neither do we. We don't have a healthy relationship sometimes we are good sometimes we are involved in the fight but held back from slitting each other throat due to the rule made by the King of supernatural creatures the Alpha King. Werewolves were the first ones to be created by Moongoddess later on the Vampires and Witches, so werewolves held a high position in the world of supernaturals.

I noticed few new faces, as well as their faces, held shock, awe as we walked by them, they were from Silver Moon I acknowledged them with a curt nod their way, being the alphas son it was my duty as well to make them comfortable. We neared our locker room which lived with new and old faces as they interacted among themselves introducing and making new friends. Among the crowd of people, I spotted my mate and her twin surrounded by her minions, my mate stood out among them as she looked with huge innocent eyes and eyes furrowed as she listened intently at the girls and her twin talking. On noticing the crowd parting their way she looked away from her friends and looked her eyes met mine as a beautiful smile decorated her pretty face, I grinned and fastened my pace and engulfed her in a tight hug lifting her above the ground as I inhaled her scent to calm down as I buried my face in the crook of her neck. She giggled as I spun her around.

" I missed you " I mumbled against her skin which caused her to giggle more at the ticklish feeling, my heart warmed listening to her voice.

" I missed you too," Nora said lifting her head from my neck and kissing my cheek, I placed her on the ground kissing her forehead our little moment was interrupted by the sound of someone clearing their throats, I looked annoyed at the person as amy pushed me aside and hugged Nora complaining about me taking all of Nora's time, I scoffed at her comment. Of course, I would, she is my mate she is mine. I noticed the few people from Silver Moon who stopped what they were doing to watch us, I rolled my eyes at them. Some girls looked jealous as they glared at Nora who greeted my friends unaware of her surroundings. A growl ripped through me when I saw few boys checking her out. I pulled her against my chest my hands wrapped around her. ' Mine ' my alpha voice roared making everyone lower their head in submission, except for Lupus, Amy and my mate. Lupus and amy cause they have Alpha blood while Nora because she is my mate.

" Yes yours, only yours Lucian," Nora said as she touched my cheek to have my attention which she was successful in. I relaxed under her touch but my anger dint calms down, My wolf howled in my head showing its uneasiness. Every time he would calm down through Nora's touch but today he dints and it confused me.

"Ares, are you okay? " I mind linked him as he shuddered to cause me to shudder as well.

                    " I don't know Lucian, I'm feeling something which I can't exactly pinpoint, " he told to which I scowled.

" Maybe you see this new kid as a danger to our mate," I told sounding satisfied for the reason behind his uneasiness.
