CELEMINE's POV

" Thank you for defending me Alpha Celemine" the witch whose name Nalinda say to which I nodded.

" Why didn't you defend yourself, you could easily take her down with your magic and stuff," Caly asked as she entered the nurse office taking a seat beside me.

" I always ask her the same thing when she comes in with injuries," the nurse said cleaning Nalinda's busted lip making my assumptions of her being bullied prove right.

" Is Adora one of them or Is she the only person who bully you?" Caly asked in a softer voice, trying to make her comfortable as the witch was nervously fidgetting with her fingers.

" You don't have to be afraid of them or us, we just look scary but we are not at all" caly tried little the atmosphere. Nalinda's eyes collided with mine giving me all this familiar feeling inside as she spoke her eyes never leaving mine.

" She does bully me but not very often it happens only when I cross her path but most of. the time it will be my fellow witches and sometimes vampires who use me as their blood bag to quench their bloodthirst. And to answer your earlier question as to why. cant't defend myself it's because I actually can't stand a chance again any of them as I am the weakest witch who can't even do the basic magic" she mumbled the last part making me feel guilty.

" Does any of my pack members hurt you?" I asked knowing full well what would happen if they are involved in hurting innocent, she shook her head indicating no one from my pack did but it dint stop me from asking the next question knowing damn well no one from my pack did it.

" Neither did they try to stop it or help you," I told more like a statement rather than a question to which Nalinda nodded confirming my statement.

" Why can't you use your magic like other witches?" Caly asked her curiously since it was unheard of a witch to be weak.

" I- I" seeing her hesitation I shot caly a look to which she apologized.

" If anyone hurt you in our absence you will come to me," I said making Nalinda's eyes. go wide from shock and confusion as she nodded her head.

" Violet, I heard what happened-" Lupus stopped mid-sentence as he stared at Nalinda with a strange expression as it was the same for her as well but the difference was she was from him to me and vice versa as if trying to fit the piece of the puzzle.

Both of them hissed as they both simultaneously began to rub their wrist making me frown at their actions and behaviour.

" Are you guys okay?" caly asked

" Not here," both of them said at the same time making me more confused at their actions as they nodded at each other at something which was not audible to our ears.

" Lupus," I said through the mindlink trying to figure out what is happening and at the same time a small gasp was heard in my mind making me look at lupus with a question but he was looking at Nalinda with his eyebrows furrowed.

" What happened- Hello?" A small voice entered into my head making my head to snap towards Nalinda's direction who sat with wide eyes just like a cat who got caught stealing its favorite treat.
