" I don't think my sister will be safe in this pack " I heard my mate say causing me to roll my eyes in annoyance at his stubborn attitude.
" We can't let the pack's gamma go, he has his responsibility towards his alpha and pack" came the reply from one of our pack elders. Since Lucian had questioned my position as alpha and my ability to protect my people and my pack, here we are in the 'elders den' as they named it since its quite funny to me as they couldn't hurt a fly concerning their age, they are a bunch of most trusted and well-knowledge people, every pack tend to keep a group of elders for assistance.
" He can fulfil his responsibility from my pack, it not like I am asking him to give up his position" Lucian shrugged, the elders sighed seeing what they are trying to explain his dint reach that thick head of his, how will it since it is filled with his man ego and attitude.
" Alpha, how could you agree on sending our gamma?" questioned elder theo
" I dint want to put my gamma in a situation where he has to choose between his pack and his mate, he could live without a pack but he couldn't live without a mate, as Elders, you should know this better elder theo" I answered staring at him causing him to huff lean back sulking like a kid.
" Why do you think your sister is unsafe here?" questioned my dad with a look of disappointment? why would dad care he is just another alpha against a female leading a pack?
"Alpha Lucian believes the rumours of me winning the challenge was mere luck along with me being wolfless Alpha and those rumours about my family" I answered the last word emphasising the last part causing the elders to shift uncomfortably and Lucian to glare at me to which I glared back with equal intensity as his.
"Is it true Lucian?" My dad asked causing him to break out the glaring contest and me smirking at his loss.
" Yes, I mean Alpha Celemine her prove it to me either that she is capable of protecting her pack and my sister so it natural for me to doubt her abilities" he answered
" I don't need to prove my ability as an alpha to anyone other than my pack and the king himself and if you still have a problem why don't you Alpha Lucian discuss your issue with the royal council and the King himself since I have their approval" I glared at him
" Alpha Celimine is right, since you are questioning her status as an alpha its equal to questioning the decision of the king himself, since the king has given his approval you have nothing to worry about your sister's safety Alpha Lucian she is in safe hands" Elder theo butted in causing him to scoff, he freaking scoffed, egoistic jerk of an Alpha.
" How about this Lucian, you can let your sister with her mate here and you can visit her whenever you feel like and find out yourself whether it is safe or unsafe for your sister to stay under my daughter's protection rather than believing the rumours, its fare for both of you," My dad said causing Lucian to go silent before he nodded much to the elder's and my dad's relief and my annoyance. That means I have to see his face and him being with another girl often than I had expected which means double the pain great just great moon goddess.
After we met with the elders, we headed back to the packhouse, on entering the house my eyes met with concerned ones of Lupus to which I gave a reassuring nod.
" Whatever I did earlier was to make sure you are safe and I hope you understand that Amy and for know, you will stay here with your mate but your transfer to this pack will be approved once I am sure about your safety," Lucian said to which she nodded and hugged him.
"See you soon, Alpha" he muttered turning towards me earning a curt nod from me as he made his way towards the girl and intertwined his hand with hers not before kissing her forehead. I had to ball my fist to not scream at him that she wasn't the one to get all his attention and love but ME dammit!
"See you soon Celemine" Adora smirked joining her twin and my mate, she would be dead meat if she wasn't in my house.
"See you tomorrow violet and don't think I dint miss that looks in your eyes watching Lucian, we will talk about it" Lupus gave me a stern look before following them, crap he caught on to it, what was I supposed to say know? Oh, the idiotic cousin of yours is my mate and the look you say was me holding back myself not to explode when is my mate claiming someone else to be his mate and showering her with love and attention which was supposed to be for me? That sounds brilliant, right? I mentally groaned at that.
" I am still mad at you lili," Keith said huffing causing amy and caly to roll their eyes, it's going to be fun to watch these two groups against him.
"I am sorry for it and as compensation for it I will let you choose a movie for our upcoming movie night" I offered to cause him to grin immediately hugging me in the process.
" Lili, you can't be serious," Caly told with a look of horror on her face.
" Why, does Keith have a bad choice in selecting movies?" Amy asked confused at the city's reactions
" No baby, I choose the best movies that bring out the emotional side of both lili and caly. Oh, I am so gonna enjoy watching these two cry and sulk over the characters" Keith grinned wickedly causing me and caly to sigh simultaneously
