CELEMINE'S POV
Seeing my mate entering the dining hall with his hand intertwined with another female was hard to see the pain of someone crushing my heart was back but it intensified hundred times with every word he spoke to me and on top of it he let his mere pack member disrespect me an Alpha, mates or not he needed to teach his pack few manners, lucky for her she was left untouched by me as she was a guest and we don't disrespect our guest it was a rule in our house-made by my mom and I intended to keep it that way. I heard Lupus threatening her, my mate ordering his sister with his Alpha voice to leave with him when she refused, It hurt me to think that my mate thinks so low of me that maybe that's the reason he chose a female with wolf rather than me a mere human said a small voice in the back of my head, all the thoughts of confronting him as who I was to him were thrown out of the window after hearing to that small voice in my head.
Taking deep breaths I stood in front of my dear friend Keith's door I was proud of him for his loyalty to his pack but I couldn't be selfish, I don't want anyone else dear to me to feel the pain of not being with their mates. I gently knocked on the door waiting a few moments later the door was opened by Keith allowing me inside.
" I am not leaving the pack nor I am leaving you and caly Lili," Keith said his voice serious it's not always I get to see him this serious.
" Keith- No lili I am not leaving and that is final" he cut me off as he sat on the couch sulking
" I know you don't want to leave the pack and I am proud of you for being loyal towards your Pack and your Alpha but trust me you don't want to stay away from your mate its the worst feeling than being stabbed to your heart continuously the pain is unbearable, and even still you refuse to stay with your mate then you leave me with any other choice than using my Alpha voice," I said causing him to look at me with wide eyes I know I have never used it against my two friends.
" You wouldn't" his voice came out whisper but I heard it clear giving him a 'try me' look, hurt and anger flashed in his eyes before he took off slamming the door with a loud bang.
" Violet," Lupus said guilt evident in his voice.
" You don't have to feel guilty or sorry for your brother's decision Lupus," I said feeling his emotions turn from guilt to frustration to anger.
" I don't know what has gotten into his head or where he had hit his head before arriving here and bark nonsense decisions, I am sorry violet I couldn't stand up against him for you I am such a disappointment" Lupus voice changed causing me to widen my eyes when I saw his golden eyes glowing it was his wolf in control. But Alphas eyes glow blood red in wolf form, Beta's are orange and gammas are green but his wolf has Golden and those enhanced his looks surely he was as good looking as my mate's.
" I-I am sorry, I-I'll hand the control over to Lupus," He said seeing my wide eyes and parted mouth in shock
" What is your name?" I asked ignoring his panicked expression.
" Leo, " he answered with a look of awe as he stared at me making me smile a bit at his name for me.
" Neither you nor Lupus are a disappointment Leo I am more than happy to have you guys by my side at my worst please don't think it's your fault whatever happened down there," I said causing him to relax his stiff shoulder.
"So you don't hate us?" he asked cautiously to which I shook my head saying no which made him relax completely and smile at me.
" Lili, you are needed downstairs- she stopped midsentence shocked at the sudden sound of a vicious growl as Leo stood in front of me blaring his teeth towards caly whose face was losing its colour as the time pass, within few moments everyone stood behind caly ready to fight to scan there surroundings for a possible threat.
" Lili- Caly's words were cut off by another growl from Leo that made her back up in fear.
"Lupus?Leo?" I mind linked them confused at his sudden behaviour towards our friends.
"I won't let them harm you, , stay where you are" Leo's voice rang in my head as he stood in front of me like a shield covering my entire view of the people ahead of me.
" Everyone leave, NOW" I heard my mate's Alpha voice and the sound of footsteps retreating and the door closing behind.
" Leo , calm down" my heart skipped a beat and raced furiusly when his wolf spoke , his wolf's voice was lot more silky and husky than his human voice it was deep attractive voice, I shifted uncomfortably in. my place causing leo to take a threathning step forward growling in process.
" Leo , there is no threat here its me Aries" I felt this strange butterflies in my stomach when I heard his name Aries it sounded perfect for him and his voice , having enough of Leo's strange behaviour i stepped forward facing leo with my back towards my mate.
" Leo, calm down and give the control back to Lupus," I said staring at his gold eyes which stared right back into mine but I dint miss the sharp intake of breath from behind me. The golden eyes which shined bright slowly dimmed returning back to their normal light brown colour.
" I am sorry I lost control over him" Lupus said looking at me apologically to which I grinned and shoke my head telling it was fine.
" It's fine , let's head back" I said turning around to come in face to face with the jerk of an Alpha himself who had a frown plastered on his face looking at Lupus.
" How can you be so careless Lupus to lose control over him,anything could have happened he could have hurt Nora seeing his dislike towards her" he fumed as I stared at him like he had grown two heads and soon I felt Lupus, I felt his pain and saddness and most important the feeling of lonliness with which I am so familiar with. Anger consumed me at the stupid Alpha in front of him could he not see how his words might affect the other person. I was about to give him a piece of mind but Lupus's hand on my shoulder made me bite back my tougue,I turned towards him he shoke his head teling me not to invole in it and existed the room. I looked at my mate with disspointment and anger stroming out of the room.
