Everyone has a rank orders must be followed if given by a higher rank, higher ranks cannot give orders that forcibly take positions or possessions orders also cannot force someone to lay down their life (some exceptions apply)
Ranks are listed in number order here but aren't always Acquired in this order all ranks are lower Than the empress the empress can revoke or grant any rank regardless if the requirements are met .Ten is the lowest one is the highest the ranks are as follows (some exceptions apply here as well )
10. Commoner
9. Adventurer
8. Shopkeep or general manager (shopkeep and managers are placed above Adventurers to avoid abuse of power)
7. Mage
6. Wizard
5 Grand wizard (to be given grand title one must impress the court wizard )
4. Priest (priests are appointed by the empress herself)
3. Knight (while knights elsewhere might seem impressive this is the rank given to the most common Soldiers)
2.court (getting to court rank means you deal with the empress herself every rank has a few in the court position being in the court position puts you above anyone in the ranks below regardless of the actual position IE:a court commoner is higher rank than a knight although a court commoner would be called a Noble)
1.Spell-sword (spell-swords are the peak of magical ability and physical combat few have ever achieved this rank while there are over a thousand court positions only 10 have ever been ranked spell-sword, spell-swords have express permission from the empress they can order anything from anyone other than the empress herself
Ranks are generally appointed by court positions of that same rank
The empresses word is law and enforcement is up to the court knights
All ranks have a badge of a different color to validate their rank other than commoner of course
Colors are as follows
Adventurer-bronze
Shopkeep-iron
Mage-gold
Wizard-platinum
Grand wizard-diamond
Priest-white
Knight-silver
Court-red
Spellsword-magil(is a magic imbued steel like metal with a metallic teal color )
