Chapter10!!! - Woah!

It seemed that Samantha had the exact same speculation as I did that night. "You look exactly like Daesung! But... She called you ParkSoo..?"

She looked so confused that I laughed. "Not Daesung. I thought the same thing though!" I laughed with ParkSoo, who seemed a little awkward about it.

"Samantha, this is my date from yesterday. Kang ParkSoo." ParkSoo held his hand out for a shake. Samantha looked at him strangely for doing it but shook it anyway.

"It's... uh nice to meet you ParkSoo." It was odd for Samantha to act so odd. I wanted to know what was up but I knew it was ParkSoo. "Thank you for having me over for breakfast. Pancakes are one of my favorites." He exclaims. I'm assuming he caught on to the tension in the air from us roommates.

I awkwardly nodded. "Well don't let them get cold. Dig in." I smiled encouraging them by eating my own double pancake stack.

Samantha ate but wouldn't stop staring at ParkSoo. Not in a way that would make me jealous, but there was a look of suspicion in her eyes.

I don't know why, but this made me mad at Samantha. How dare she be suspicious of a guest she invited. My significant other at that! The nerve. I suppressed a mini growl. She will definitely get an earful for it too.

It was just so embarrassing. He looked embarrassed too. Yet all I could do was sigh and let it happen. Any outburst would make me look mean and undesirable. Now, what I wanted was for the Earth to open up and swallow me whole.

An hour later, even then my wish didn't comply. ParkSoo left embarrassed as I was. How could I have let this happen. He didn't deserve it. Thinking this, as soon as ParkSoo was out of sight, I slowly turned around. The fear lit up in Samantha's eyes. "What did I do!?" She nearly squeaked.

I took a deep breath to overcome my anger. "Being rude to guests, and giving them funny looks. That is what you did." The amount of control I mustered was surprising her. She nodded furiously and then slowly walked to her room.

Later

As terrible as It is, it's time to go to work. My hair had somewhat recovered and I could probably survive another day. While it was ok, customers might not approve since it was beyond saving. I'd lose so much credibility... The happiness from my date last night would get me through the day, right?

I let out an exaggerated sigh, and opened the door to the salon. Looking aaround, Janice was no where to be seen. Today was obviously my luck day. Well, besides Samantha embarrassing me this morning. I could give my day my best I could without being terrified of being patronized by that person.

I went to the back and changed. For once, I was pumped for work. My apron was on and my station was ready for anyone. So, I was just sitting in my chair waiting for someone to require my assisstance, when name was called and I snapped up and walked to the counter.

I almost screamed. It was, could I even say it? It was BigBang, unmasked and in my store... Is it because their comeback was soon? But wouldn't they ask YG workers rather than us?

Well.. Who cares right?? I get to do the hair of one of these beauties. "Hello. My name is Alex." I bowed respectfully because I knew that was a custom in Korea. "What can I help you with?" I smiled welcomingly, and listened. However the story was completely different in my heart and mind. Jumping screaming and feinting is what was happening there.

"Uh yea we all need specific cuts and five of them. We all know what we need so can you charge afterwards, the cuts are strange so we're not sure what to ask for up front." Jiyang laughed nervously rubbing the back of his hair. I nodded and waved him back. "We only have two people in right now so thats all we can do, but if you're willing to wait we can get to you all." I offered reassuringly.

Jiyong and T.O.P came up first. and I could have feinted. Carie smiled at the teenager in me and sat T.O.P down in her station and began working.

Then my fantasy was stopped when Janice walked in the room.
