We have reached the one moment where everyone gets dolled up and compete against each other to claim a title in which will do you no good outside of these school halls however is the most important time of their lives for these girls but to me I just like that we get to have one get together as friends before we split if I had it my way, I would not be going but Vinni has forced me into going and it brings me to now when I am squished in a small dressing room being forced to try on dresses don't get me wrong I love a good dress but she woke me up at like 8 so we could get here early and it was now 12 and I was starving.
but we weren't allowed out of the mall until we found one dress so here I am trying them on one by one until I stumble upon a blue backless satin dress that is absolutely gorgeous and I just had to buy it I didn't even need to try it on to know it was perfect luckily Vinni found a black dress that looked stunning on her and made her purple hair pop.
we were now going to get food because we were starving I was just happy we were able to find dresses we both liked as it was prom tomorrow we had really left it last minute but we were too busy trying to sort everything out in what we were doing for college and many other things we just got so busy prom wasn't our first priority.
We take our seats in a booth over by one of the windows and we order our food which we hope doesn't take too long.
"wow maly did you think we would ever get here a day before prom you have a boyfriend or well your fiancé and me with a boyfriend and also having college plans because I can't believe it" she says exasperated and I just have to agree with her I didn't dream nay of this like who thought the abused hidden girl would be engaged to a lovely man who treats me right I would ditch the dickhead of a foster dad and my parents would be back in my life it's insane.
"Trust me Vinni I never thought any of this would happen" I say to her she looks down towards the table which I know is her tell-tell sign that she has something she wants to say but is nervous to say it.
"spit it out" I say and she looks at me with a new giddy expression.
"well I got a call the other day saying I have been given a modelling contract in New York but the only downfall is that I will have to move out there which I'm upset about cause I won't get to spend more time with you" she says as tears gather in her eyes which make me upset.
"Vin you know I love you and I want you to be happy take that contract cause your stunning and anyway what makes you think I won't see you bitch you are stuck with me whether you like it or not'' I say laughing with tears going down both of our faces as we pull each other into an awkward hug over the table before we were interrupted by the server who had our food and drink to which we sat down and talked about what we were going to do and how we were going to see each other as much as possible this what I love about mine and Vinni's friendship we are like sisters no matter what splits us apart we always come back together she's my rock and I am her's.
