Exams had crept up very quickly luckily, I had managed to catch up with my work and I was at the top of my games depending on how well I do from these exams I am on my way to becoming valedictorian which had been my dream because it would look better on my transcript to get into college. We were all struggling these past few weeks trying to maintain any energy left to socialize but the exams just wiped you most the time we would get back and we would all just end up sleeping the night away.
I am ashamed to say we have pretty much ordered takeaway every night just so we ate during all the exams lion couldn't keep up with the gang so he had his dad step in to take over the business until he had finished all of school. We had just finished our last exam you could feel the excitement of the day build in the exam room until we finished, we all celebrated as soon as we left the room voices were raised in laughter and cheer, I haven't seen these guys like this since before the exams and I missed it the exhaustion lifting suddenly off everyone I was smiling and laughing along with whatever they were saying as we walked for one of the last times I'm not paying attention until someone puts their arm around my shoulder I turn to see who when ki smiles down at me.
"Hey everyone I have asked lion if we can borrow his beach house for the weekend because I know we need a break and we won't be able to see each other as much with college coming up so why not go out with a bang so what do you say" everyone answers with a cheer which sounds like a war cry causing a few dirty looks to be thrown our way.
we all decide we need to go back home as quick as possible so we can start getting ready to go to the beach house I can't lie and say I have never been to a beach before but I'm excited everyone seemed to like the place other than Vinni because she has never been to a beach house before so I was trying to sike myself up we climbed into the cars and started our journey home I trail in behind lion to see Franchester and Vanessa sat at the island in the kitchen talking quietly with each other I turn to lion.
"hey I'm going to start packing my bag do you want me to do yours so you can talk to your parents?" I say touching his shoulder and he nods as I make my way up the stairs luckily, I have seen Pinterest and tv shows so I know pretty much what I'm going to have to pack.
It didn't take long for everyone to be packed and ready due to us only being gone for a weekend our bags now gathered in the foyer of the house with all of us waiting on Vinni to be finished of course it had to be her to be the last ready ki was becoming impatient as he kept begging Blake to get his girlfriend to hurry up but I knew better than try to rush Vinni Kurt just as he was about to give up and try Vinni comes barreling down the stairs carrying the biggest bag out of all of us.
"babe you know we are only staying there for two nights right you don't need that much stuff" Blake tries to reason with Vinni but she just scoffs at him.
"What do you mean these are only the essentials I cut this down by so much" she says defending herself and I couldn't help it but burst out laughing because this is how Vinni is.
