Our evening was nice and I couldn't wait until I could get home and fall asleep in our bed lion on a few occasions had to talk to me so I wouldn't fall asleep in the car it was working until I saw the house come into view and never have, I been so excited to see a house in my life but in this moment, I was tired and I needed my sleep I hold in my yawn as we climb out of the car.
"I can't believe how tired I am," I say, still stifling my yawns.
I pretty much ran to the bed before lion could even reach me. I hit the bed with full force, allowing the warm blankets to consume me until I fell asleep. I couldn't even bother to change. I just couldn't keep my eyes open long enough for me to even take my shoes off.
It has now been a week since we manage to help the young girl and I have started looking into courses on teaching and what the best ways of going around it luckily, I had the grades for it but because I didn't know what I wanted to do so I had to apply to late admissions which was harder than I thought so I just applied to local colleges hoping that they would still accept me for this semester so now it will just be the waiting game hoping that I at least get into somewhere.
I finish up my write ups for the colleges feeling achieved so I thought I would go and make some of my favorite chocolate fudge brownies which I know everyone loves I grab a pair of my fluffy socks so I wouldn't get my feet cold on the marble floors in the kitchen.
the rest of the gang are in on a meeting I know lion thinks I'm oblivious to his lifestyle still but I know the basics now but I can understand his worry just like I do when he goes out to go on his missions or when he has to go to a meeting at a different location but I know this is important to him so I let it go I walk past the living room to the kitchen getting everything ready to make my brownies I always love to bake in this kitchen I have managed to learn more recipes while I have been living here and now I could probably do most of them off heart which is shocking but when you are like me and get left alone a lot it helps to not grow bored I finish up my batter quickly so that I can get it in the oven so I can have them done by the time the meeting is over knowing I wouldn't be able to finish them all myself I just managed to get the timer set for the brownies when I hear the door to the meeting room open indicating the meeting was over which was weird considering it was supposed to finish later today cause lion had a large shipment coming in and needed all hands on deck if he was going to complete it successfully he was the last one out the door but before I could ask him why he finished early I heard Blake and Vinni shouting something about which Hemsworth brother was more hot I roll my eyes at their antics but I can tell if Blake says Liam hemsworth one more time Vinni is going to lose her shit and trust me you don't want to be om the wrong side of Vinni they stroll into the kitchen and Vinni with her murderous glare stares at me.
"maly fix this, what hemsworth brother is hotter?" She says I know her well enough to say what she wants to hear.
"Chris obviously" I say flippantly. I have had to say this so often that I'm immune to it but I hear someone clear their voice and I turn to see lion.
