the night almost seemed a dream compared to the day I was going to have; the ringing of my phone hadn't stopped all morning I even had to rope in the gang to help with the wedding plans the one we were trying to impress was lions' mother she had been the one ringing my phone nonstop cause lion is her only child she needed everything perfect that meant annoying me to no end, I couldn't lie if I didn't say that it was intimidating the number of things, I had to get ready. The whole list seemed daunting and the fact that everyone was excited and I was just sitting there ticking off the things we have done didn't go unnoticed by lion.
"what's the matter?" I turned in his direction and let out a sigh.
almost showing how overwhelming the whole wedding planning was running my hands through my hair pushing it into the now messy hairdo I have been sporting.
"I'm not used to all this" I said lying my head on the table hoping to fall asleep and everything will be done when I wake up but instead, I felt lion rubbing circles on my back.
"don't worry about it we have it all under control you just have to answer yes or no, ok?" he said while trying to calm my nerves which had been dulled by his words.
I nodded, turned back to the planner that was placed in front of me and went through the small things like the colour scheme and who is the maid of Honour and for me to start gathering ideas hoping that I don't have a meltdown. lion was truthful to his word he worked with me planning the whole thing which I was very grateful for in the end I was so close to not going through with it or just allowing someone else to plan the wedding I didn't understand why we started so early it frightened me until I saw the list of what we actually had to do it was overwhelming no wonder brides turn into bridezilla they probably saw this list and it turned them insane.
I would be lying if I didn't say how I wanted to get rid of all this and just get hitched in Las Vegas but I knew this was important to lion and I wouldn't do that to him he has dreamed of this day and I know secretly he is trying to do this for me and i am grateful for it.
after I started working on this wedding more, I felt the nerves wash away and it started to be replaced with excitement as I saw our wedding come alive right in front of me, I knew it was going to be a big wedding due to being in a gang and them all wanting to bring family members and plus ones and I didn't like it at the start I wanted a small wedding but it's kind of grown on me. after a grueling day I was now sat in our kitchen with a list of guests who I had to make sure was sitting in the right places double checking I placed people in the right place apparently that's the most important thing when the doorbell began to ring, I jumped out of my skin clutching my heart.
my legs still shaking after being so engrossed in the seating plan I wasn't paying attention I look around the kitchen to see that I was the only one in here so after composing myself I walked towards the door tentatively hoping that it would just be someone who was lost or something I grasped the handle of the door making sure to look confident. I put on a serious face but what I didn't expect would be to see a tall purple woman standing in front of me with her hand on her hip with a wide smile set on her face. My mouth hit the floor. I couldn't believe it.
