5 years later...
It has been a hard journey for me and lion we have had a lot of ups and many downs we have come far since we had brought Delaney into our lives her dad gave up custody to us after 2 months of being put away and she has been with us ever since we have loved having her, she had to adjust a lot to our lifestyle she was now 11 and she was still shy but she has gotten used to us and to her siblings that's right not long after adopting Delaney I had my son Easton Wilkins and lion was so happy to find out I was pregnant he had been so hands on with helping out Delaney that we ultimately forgot about having kids until I found out I was carrying obviously lion being lion was very protective over me throughout the whole pregnancy he was scared of me doing anything without any help he even resorted into bringing his work home so that he could be with me and while you are pregnant there is one thing you do not want and that Is a lion breathing down your neck every time you want to go the toilet and he thinks something is wrong but in the end I managed to get him to calm down and Delaney was happy to be having a brother who she could play with.
They had become inseparable they are the best of friends and it's really nice to see especially as I'm currently pregnant again I love the feeling of being a mother as soon as I had my son and Delaney, I knew this is what I have wanted to do even over my job and just seeing lion with the kids was lovely to see you wouldn't think a man with his type of background would be good with kids but he really has embraced being a after sometimes he has it more put together than me he even takes time out of his work to spend with us which is really appreciative as he recently found out he was Forbes number 1 best businessman in America which was amazing he had worked so hard to make a name for himself and he did it everyone was so proud of him.
I was cooking in the kitchen getting some food cooked as we were having a small get together as everyone is in the same state for once even my parents and lion's parents will be coming which will be nice, they haven't been over as much as they want so we gave everyone an excuse to just drop everything and enjoy ourselves the kids were playing in the garden with lion while I was plating waiting for the guests to arrive when I felt lion come up behind me wrapping his arms around my baby bumps as I finish up the plates.
"hey are you ok?" he asks, kissing my cheek lovingly and I lean into him for support feeling exhausted.
"yeah I'm fine a bit tired right now but I'll be fine" I say sighing as I go to pull away when the bell rang out as I went to go open the door my kids come running out of nowhere and swing the door open screaming as they come face to face with Vinni's two children she ended up having twins one boy and one girl who were best friends with Delaney and Easton which was cute.
"Zuko and Malea hunt get your asses here now!" she shouts at her chaotic kids and I laugh as I see the flustered look on her face.
"Vinni hunt how nice to see you" I say smiling at her after Vinni and Blake had their kids they decided they wanted to get married it was a beautiful wedding.
