I'm happy well for now nothing had happened since that day and we were grateful but then again lion wouldn't let me know even if something was happening as he was locked away in his office these past few days but today, he couldn't avoid me due to it being our graduation I had my parents coming and lions coming which was cool I never thought I would have anyone turn up to my graduation like ever well other than Vinni but she would have been there anyway but today we were going to be on full alert due to Kilroy and us being in the same vicinity cause it means he could do anything and we thought we would be prepared for it but hopefully he won't so we thought we would invite our parents so they could distract us so we could at least enjoy the day.
I grab my graduation gown and cap picking up lion's cap that was left on the bed before leaving the room to go and greet my parents and lions they had recently went away on a vacation before we start college, I left lion downstairs with his dad as I was finishing getting ready, I enter the living room to see my mom and dad chatting with Mrs. Wilkins and they look like they are getting along which was shocking I thought they would hate each other or something they are on totally different levels of society and here they are acting like they are the best of friends.
I walk over as my mom's eyes fill with tears.
"Jesus' time has gone so fast we have only just got you back in our lives and we are seeing you turn into a grown woman it's insane but we are proud of you" she says pulling me into a hug when lions arm snakes around my waist smiling at everyone when he shakes my dad's hand and kisses my mom's cheek and his as he joins in on the conversation, we all talk about the fact that we all get our acceptance forms in today and we are so nervous but not as nervous as me who had to write my valedictorian speech last minute due to only finding out the other day like thanks guys way to give a girl a heads up but like the nerd I am got it done as quick as possible we just finished our conversation when Mr. Wilkins pipes in.
"guys it's time to go otherwise these two will be late" they say moving us out of the house Vinni and all the others are arriving with their parents so we said we will meet at the ceremony we all drove separately me with lion and the parents in their cars I was jittering I have never been one for attention and knowing I'm going to have to get up in front of everyone and give a speech is panic inducing.
"hey cupcake you'll do fine so stop worrying you have your speech written down all you have to do is look at me the whole time" he says rubbing my hand in his and I send him a small smile in reciprocation looking out the window appreciating the calmness it doesn't take long for us to arrive at the school as we start seeing everyone around looking excited some are crying some are hugging their friends and family it looks like an emotional rollercoaster I grab mine and lions cap as I step out of the car lion rolls round to take his cap from me which I help to make sure It is straight as we walk over to where the students have to sit I go to sit down when a head of purple hair appears in the crowd and I take off towards her with my arms open hugging her as hard as I can she squeals but turns returning the hug.
