It has been a while since our wedding and I was enjoying married life and so was lion we had decided not long after our wedding that we wanted to focus on college before going on a honeymoon so we waited until we finished our college degrees lions was a lot shorter than mine as I had to go to university to get my teaching license which I actually enjoyed doing.
But now lion has started up his own business with the help and connections of his dad and now it was better than ever he was getting more and more well-known every day and I was so proud of him I'm currently teaching in a 1st grade class who were lovely to work with it took a while for me to get used to being in charge but as soon as you have a schedule its easier.
We have now moved out of the gang house due us having to move with our jobs but it meant we now lived in New York which was so beautiful no wonder Vinni loved to come here just the atmosphere here is amazing lion still had his gang but I know he was trying to find someone to take over more responsibilities cause his business was getting well noticed and it would be too much to juggle home life with gang and business life which I can't blame him for most nights he's exhausted but he still makes sure to sit down with me at dinner and we talk about our days.
I had a slow day today my first graders were having fun with the art supplies while I tried to get my emails answered to, they are very well-behaved kids normally but they do have their moments when all of a sudden, I look up from my computer to see all the kids gathered around my desk I was scared at one point thinking this was some form of horror movie when they start handing me flowers one by one until I looked around confused on where the kids go these flowers from and why they were giving to me when I see a figure standing In the doorway of the classroom and I make my way over when I hear small giggles from the class.
"lion what are you doing here were you the one who told the kids to give me these?" I ask inquisitively.
"can't I just come and visit my wife at work and the kid thing they wanted to help?" he says laughing as I pull the door closed slightly as I turn to the class.
"Ok everyone get back to working I want a finished piece done for the end of the day and if there is a really good one I'm going to put it on the starboard" they let out squeals as they get back to work before I turn to lion.
"Well I don't mind you here at work but my boss won't like it" I say, kissing his cheek so I turn to walk back in the classroom when he stopped me again.
"well I have already spoken to your boss and I want you to know that I have everything sorted but I just wanted to know if you would like to take a break and go on our honeymoon, we never got a chance to go on and I managed to get the time off so what do you say?" he says holding my hands in his as I look towards the classroom, I was not expecting this at all I just thought we were never going to have a honeymoon and we had both been so busy we haven't even thought about it.
