A/N: hi y'alll. idk what to say except i got bored and i mean why not make another chapter. i'm thinking about starting another story so i may do that. anyways while i recap myself on this in case i decide to continue this, enjoy this gay chapter. :)
This wasn't meant to be a date. It wasn't supposed to, it was just a friendly thing together. Dear Heather Mac was going to support Janis in her art show. Both girls were aware of this. But while Mac got ready, she couldn't help but feel giddy. She was finally getting to hang out with her. As she put the last earring, she stepped back to study herself for a moment. She was scrutinizing silly stuff on herself, hoping it looked alright. 'No, I just need to shut these thoughts down for one night. This is about Janis.' With that, she grabbed her keys and out the door she went.
The art show was coming to a close and there wasn't a sign of any Heather around. Janis could feel her heart sink a tad. She would think if anything, at least one person would show up. Not even Damien could make it. She started to pull her painting off the wall until the rushed sound of heels clicked closer and closer. A voice as sweet as honey came through afterwards. "I'm not too late, am I?"
She turned her head to get a better look. 'My god, she's beautiful,' was the only comprehendible thought in her mind. She was happy that she looked so nice for something so simple. "No, no, you're fine." She stepped to the side so Mac could get a better look, her hands fidgeting with one another. "This one's my favorite," she said, motioning her head towards a drawing close to the one the blonde was clearly observing. She never cared much before if someone liked her work. Why was it so crucial for her to like it now?
A smile was slowly spreading across the blonde's cheeks. Her eyes had that sunny looks as red flooded her cheeks for a cutesy blush. "I think they're all amazing. I always tried to be an artist, but was never that good." She impulsively reached over and hugged her tightly.
Janis paused, feeling their bodies pressed against each other. They were quite physically close. She oddly liked this feeling. Her arms made their way around her waist to hug her back. "I'm glad you like it. You know, I wanted to show you something I've been working on for a while, but this is just for your eyes."
She reached down and grabbed a small notebook, flipping through the pages like a roadrunner rushing down the street. She finally stopped and slowly turned it around to reveal a drawing she had done of the sunshine girl. "I hope you like it."
Mac felt her heart flutter in her chest a bit, looking at how intricate every detail was. Those were her eyes. Those were her lips. Those were her cheeks. It was her. "You took the time to do this?" she asked, earning a sheepish nod back.
She was truly at a loss for words. "It's wonderful! Spectacular, even. That's something I would buy from you!"
"Yeah?" Janis asked, ripping the page out of her notebook and handing it over. "Well, I'll give it to you for free." She gave her a wink and a little grin to accompany it.
Mac slowly took it and folded it up, placing it in her purse. "Thanks. I guess I'll see you tomorrow:" She paused like she wanted to do something and eventually decided to do it. She planted a kiss on Janis' cheek and rushed off.
Janis had her jaw dropped a tad for a moment before closing her mouth. She grinned and leaned against the wall, doing a giggle. She never giggled. "Look at what you managed to get, Janis. She really likes you back."
