Regina George put on her biggest (obviously fake) smile towards the blonde biotch that walked and stopped in front of her. "Hiii!! You must be Heather Chandler. I'm Regina, and I'll be your fabulous mentor while you're here. Oh my god, I love your scrunchie, where did you get it?"
Heather put on a mysterious face. She wasn't sure whether to flash her fake smile or make things clear from her first words. She decided to wait til tomorrow to put her in her place. She'll need to start slow, after all.
"It was a gift for my 13th birthday. Red is my favorite color, so I just COULDN'T deny this gift."
As they went on like little chipmunks, Heather Duke approached Gretchen, who held her name up.
"Hi, you must be Heather. Duke, I assume. I'm Gretchen. And may I just say, I love green! It's such a fetch color!"
Duke's sour expression turned into a sugar-sweet smile. "Thanks! You don't look too bad yourself!"
Both Gretchen and Duke knew that someday, the tension would snap, and one would turn and attack the other. But that day wasn't today. 'Oh well' they both thought. 'Might as well keep a mask on.'
Heather McNamara walked over to the fellow blonde holding her sign. Heather took a deep breath.
"Hi.. are you Karen?"
"Yep. Who are you again?"
"....Heather McNamara.. your exchange student."
"Oh! That's right! My name is Karen. I have a question.
Heather prepared for the worst. "Ok.. what is it?"
Karen sighed. "It's a question! Duh!"
"No, what IS your question?"
"Oooooh. How do you spell 'orange'?"
Veronica slowly made her way over to Cady, who was holding her name on a sign. "Hi, I'm Veronica Sawyer. I'm so sorry about my friends."
Cady gave her a sympathetic smile. "Oh, I guarantee yours can't be any worse than mine. Like I was..." She shuddered.
For the first time in a while, Veronica actually found someone who shared the similar feeling of being embarrassed by her friends. A small smile creeped upon Veronica's face.
"Alright ladies! Let's blow this popsicle stand." Regina turned and faced the rest of the group. Heather Chandler flashed her a smile, but when Regina wasn't looking (and Veronica was), that smile turned into a sneer.
The four natives to Illinois took only Regina's car to the airport. That's when it hit them like a brick, that they forgot they'd be coming back with 4 people.
Chandler clicked her tongue. "Don't worry, I got this. Duke, redheaded girl, you guys share the passenger seat."
"My name is Cady," Cady spoke softly.
Chandler glared. "I'll learn names later, just get in the front if you want this to work." They obeyed.
She continued. "Mac, girl standing oddly close to Regina, you two need to share the seat behind the driver. Ronnie, you and the shorter ditzy blonde go in behind the passenger's seat. Regina drives, since this is her car, I go in the middle backseat. Everyone got that?"
Too startled to do anything, they all just silently nodded.
Regina knew what was happening. From one Queen Bee to another, she knew what Heather would try to do. She vowed that before the Heathers and that one Sawyer girl left, she'd make it clear that Evanston, Illinois was her territory.
The next episodes might be out later. It's kinda hard for me to come up with events that happen while the Heathers are in Illinois. IMPORTANT: instead of the past year, I'm going to set the plot in present time so I can use stuff like iPhones and other inventions. Ok, that's all I got to say. Thanks for reading!
