Bakugou's P.O.V.

I can't stop thinking about what happened earlier. How I I didn't really have a choice when he told me what to do. I know that he said he won't do it again, but what if by some twisted fate he decides he wants to actually control me. I wouldn't have a say so, it would just happen like earlier. But that would mean that I have to watch what I say around Deku too. If I tell him to die like I usually do then he might actually go do it. Wait a minute. Last time I read you are able to disobey the person that marked to a certain degree. You can have your own free will but keep disobeying that person and your mark will start to sting each time. Honestly now that I think about it, the soulmate mark really does bind you to your partner.

"Bakugou, are you paying attention?" Aizawa asked.

Why does he always come after me like that?

"Yeah I'm paying attention," I responded.

"Then answer the question," he requested.

I squinted my eyes in confusion.

"What question?" I asked.

He sighed and shook his head.

"The one on the board," Aizawa stated.

I looked on the board to read the question and realized that I didn't understand it. That's weird.

"The answer is self defense," I heard Todoroki say.

That was also weird. He didn't physically say it with his mouth. It was some kind of telepathic thing.

"I'm waiting," Aizawa said.

"Self defense?" I asked.

He nodded his head and wrote it on the board.

"Good job," he said.

He continued teaching and I looked over at Todoroki. He wasn't looking at me but he was smiling while looking at his notes. So whatever he did was intentionally?

After Class (Midoriya's P.O.V.)

I'm still so sleepy! I don't feel like getting out of this desk. Then I felt a hand tap my shoulder so I looked up to see who it was. It was Mr. Aizawa and he looked a bit concerned. He didn't look like that earlier while he was teaching, what has gotten into him now?

"Come with me. We need to talk in private," he said.

I stood up out of my seat and followed him out of the room. We went into his office which was right down the hall. He told me to sit in the seat across from his desk and he sat down in his wheelchair.

"What's up with you lately?" he asked.

"What do you mean?" I questioned. "There's nothing wrong."

"Your grades are dropping gradually. So is Bakugou's. I get that his dad died but it's been a while since that happened so he doesn't really have an excuse anymore. I also noticed that your hair changed gradually. It's grey but green at the ends. Is this the effects of a grey string?" he asked.

I slowly nodded my head. He sighed and looked down at the papers on his desk. He handed me two packets of paper.

"Give the one on the bottom to Bakugou. I wrote both of your names on your packets just in case you get them mixed up. It's all of the missing work that you guys need to get turned in by the end of the month," he said.

My face lit up. It's rare to see Aizawa give us a second chance. I climbed over his desk and threw my arms around him.

"Thank you so much sir! We won't ruin this!" I exclaimed.

"All right get off!" he said.

I jumped off of him and started to head out the door.

"Thank you again sir!" I yelled.

"Yeah whatever," he replied.

I walked out of his office and down the hall to Kacchan's room. I knocked on his door when I got there but there was no answer so I knocked harder. Kacchan opened the door with an irritated expression on his face. Then he realized it was me and he smiled.

"Hey, what is it?" he asked.

I handed him the packet that had his name on it. He looked down and grabbed it. Then he looked confused as he flipped through the pages.

"What's all this?" he asked.

"A packet of all the missing work that you need to do in order to get your grade back up. He gave me one too," I stated nervously.

"Your falling behind?" he asked.

"Uh yeah. Anyways, I got to go," I said.

I walked away and to the common room. I saw Iida sitting on the couch while reading a book. So I walked over and sat next to him.

"Hey," I said.

He looked up from his book and shifted his focus over to me.

"Oh hey Midoriya," he said.

He looked back down at his book. Dang, is the book that good. I looked at hus book cover and read the title out loud.

"Inside a Women's Mind?" I said.

He got flustered and threw the book behind him. I laughed at his sudden shyness.

"It's not funny, I'm just confused," he stated.

I nodded my head in understanding.

"Why don't you just ask her yourself and stop beating around the bush," I suggested.

He looked at me surprised.

"How did you know it was about someone? Did Todoroki tell you?" he asked.

"Uraraka came to me herself," I said.

"Oh," h e replied. "Well I guess I should talk to her."

I nodded my head in agreement. He stood up and thanked me. Then he walked away.

I was sitting there just scrolling on my phone and then the thought had hit me. So far it's been almost a whole 15 hours since I've been marked.  Yet, my body isn't rejecting Todoroki. Bakugou's body almost completely rejected me and that was way less than 15 hours. So why aren't my body rejecting Todoroki? I mean, it's great that it's not because I  wouldn't want that to happen.
