Bakugou's P.O.V.
To be honest, I was surprised that Deku agreed. He is such a goody two shoes so it was shocking. We were sitting in the middle of class and just listening to Mr. Aizawa talk about some upcoming USJ training. I honestly did want to go. I'll be able to show all these rejects where they stand. And I'll make them understand that they are all below me. I think I was getting too focused on my thoughts because Mr. Aizawa called me out."Right Bakugou?" he said.
"Uh...yeah," I replied.
Mr. Aizawa squinted his eyes.
"Well what would you do in that situation?" he asked.
Is it a teacher's mission to expose students or something?
"I'll like to keep that to myself," I said confident in my words.
Mr. Aizawa grunted and continued teaching.
"Bitch," I muttered under my breath.
I heard Deku chuckle a bit in the seat behind me. I smiled a bit. I really like his laugh.
After class ended, Deku and I stood up and we both looked at each other. Then we both looked at Todoroki. Then at each other again. He smirked while I had on a serious expression. As soon as I was about to run up to Todoroki, I felt this gush of wind that knocked me off my balance and I fell to the ground. Before I knew it, Deku was already talking to Todoroki. THAT DAMN NERD!! He really can play dirty. I didn't even realize that I had a small smile plastered on my face. Fine then. The game is on.
Midoriya's P.O.V.
Kacchan can be really competitive, but I can be a dirty player. That new trick All Might taught me came in handy just now. All I have to do is flick the air. When I approached Todoroki, he smiled."Hey Todoroki! I want to take you somewhere after school. Can I do that?" I asked.
"Did the school give you permission to leave the grounds?" he asked.
"I didn't ask yet, but I'm sure they'll say yes!" I exclaimed.
"Okay then. We'll hang out. I need to get my mind off of Yaoyorozu anyway," he said.
"Did something happen between you two?" I asked.
"We broke up today," he said.
My face didn't show it, but I was kind of happy. It gave me a better chance at getting with him before Kacchan, since Kacchan doesn't know this information yet. I won't tell him either. Wait...If Todoroki's soulmate was Momo, and they broke up, he should have a purple rejected string.
All of a sudden, my purple rejected string was turning from grey to purple again. It was... healing? Now I was really curious.
"Todoroki, I'm terribly sorry for your break up and all, but I have a quick question," I said.
He nodded his head.
"How is your string now? Is it normal?" I asked.
"My string is perfectly fine and in place. She must've not been the one," he said.
That couldn't be true. Once your string connects to someone and turn purple, that's it. There is no, "She wasn't the one."
"Todoroki, are you lying? It's okay to tell me the truth. I won't tell a soul," I promised him.
He opened his to say something and then closed it. He looked conflicted in his thoughts.
"No, I'm not lying," he said.
I took a deep breath.
"Okay. Well meet me at the front gate after school!" I said.
He nodded and gave a small smile. As I was walking back towards my seat, Kacchan was sitting on my desk with his arms crossed.
