Chapter 30

The Weekend (Kirishima's P.O.V.)

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK 

Who's banging on my door at 6:00 pm and it's the weekend?

I got up to see who it was banging on the door so hard. When I opened it, I saw a smiling Kaminari.

"Do you remember that you promised me a date?" he said.

I had to think about it for a second, then I did remember when he asked me in the classroom a few days ago. Honestly, I don't feel like it. I wanted to relax and read Webtoons but it looks like I promised this date.

"Yeah give me a few minutes," I said.

"Okay, I'll be in front of the dorm," he stated.

I nodded my head and watched him walk away. 

I closed the door and got ready. It didn't really take too long. After about 10 minutes I went down stairs and out the front door. Kaminari was standing there just like he said and didn't really notice me walking up to him because he was looking at his phone. I decided to take the chance to scare him. I tiptoed up to him then jumped on his back.

"BOO!" I shouted.

ZAPPP

Ahh shit! I jumped off of him and he turned around in a fighting stance. Then he realized it was me and calmed back down.

"Oh my god! Sorry! I don't take jump scares well," he explained.

"I can see that. You zapped the shit out of me just now," I responded.

He laughed it off and changed the topic.

"Anyway, let's go," he said.

He started to walk ahead of me so I ran to catch up to him.

"Kaminari, where are we going anyway?" I asked.

"You'll see!" he replied.

I sighed and continued walking.

After about 20 minutes of walking we arrived at....a milkshake stand?

"We are here! What type of milkshakes do you like?" he asked.

"Strawberry," I answered.

He smiled.

He walked up to the window and ordered and the man came back out with his order in less than 5 minutes. I almost didn't trust it.

Kaminari came back and holding the bag and he handed me the milkshakes to hold.

"Hold this, we are gonna eat this somewhere else," he said.

I nodded my head and he started walking again. Ugh! My legs are tired!

After like what felt like 30 minutes we arrived to out destination. When really it was only like 5 to ten minutes.

"Here," he said as he handed me my milkshake. 

I was surprised it wasn't melted.

"Are you hungry?" he asked.

"Yeah, a bit," I said.

He reached in the bag next to him and grabbed a burger out of it. Then he handed it to me. We sat down on the ground. We were sitting on top of a hill and honestly I didn't really see why he wanted to eat here.

"Why here?" I asked.

"Look up at the sky," he said.

I looked up and saw nothing. There wasn't a star in sight.

"Just keep looking," he said as he pulled his phone out.

I kept looking at the sky and there was still nothing there. I was starting to worry if all that electricity finally gotten to his head. Out of nowhere, the was a fast light pass through the sky. I was caught of guard by it, but it made me look harder. Then all of a sudden, hundreds of shooting stars came flying through the air. My facial expression lit up at the site.

CLICK 

I looked down at Kaminari and saw that he took a picture.

"Why?" I asked.

"Cause it was cute and I wanted to get your reaction on camera," he explained. "Don't forget to make a wish before they go away."

I closed my eyes and wished for my rejected string to disappear one day.

"I wish..." Kaminari started.

I turned my head to him. I didn't think he would say his wish out loud really. But since he is, I want to know.

"I wish...that you were my boyfriend. Unfortunately stars can't make that come true, only you can," he said as he looked at me.

My face expression went blank. I couldn't say anything. I guess I was too surprised because Kaminari started laughing at me.

"OMG!!" he laughed out. "What type of reaction is that!!"

I got mad and smacked him on the back of the head.

"It's not funny!" I pouted. "You can't just go saying things like that out of nowhere!"

"But I'm serious though Kirishima. I want you to be my boyfriend. I like you a lot and I know this is pretty fast but-"

"Sure," I interrupted.

"What?" he asked.

"Are you deaf? I said sure. I'll date you. I'll be your boyfriend. We may not know a lot about each other right now, but we can learn along the way. It's like an adventure," I said.

Kaminari face turned red and he smiled.

"I'm glad...that you said yes."

Hey guys!! So in one of my other chapters I put in the Author's Note that I would be taking a two to three week hiatus so I can catch myself up for future chapters. And that is true! I need to catch up because I've been busy and slowed down lately. I honestly enjoy thinking off everything that happens in this story, so not being able to do it lately has really been letting me down. I've also got to focus on my other book. It really needs some love. I've took an unknown hiatus on that one due to writers block. But now it is cured. While on hiatus I will enjoy working on both of my books. One more thing. I'm planning on changing up some things in the chapters already written. I haven't yet, but when I do I'll notify you guys so you won't be confused.
