Love doesn't last [Jeno]

31. A scene to film

Everything I did and do in life I do the best I can so that my mother wouldn’t be disappointed. But I noticed that even if she had given up on me or let it go, I still stay disappointed, and then it changed. It was all about not disappointing myself because I knew my limits.

“I am happy that you didn’t give up on your dreams even if mum told you to at the start. Now look at her, talking about you to the whole world” I replied even if it hurt a bit inside of myself knowing my mom isn’t proud of me or my work.

But I don’t need her to be proud, I gave up that part a while ago, now it’s all about not disappointing myself. “Well I need to be on set in one or two minutes, but we can talk later” is the last thing Aria said before she headed out of the dressing room and was alone in the silence of mirrors.

“You shouldn’t be here, you should come outside see me act” I heard his voice again and saw him too, he didn’t vanish away like last time. I stand up and grab my notebook again seeing Jeno holding the door for me waiting for me to come out and see him act.

The act with Jeno, Aria, Jisung, and Jaemin-

Aria: I can't believe this *pushes Jaemin away*

Jaemin: Don’t lie to yourself, you don’t want to believe it *grabs Aria’s hand harshly*

Jeno: *slaps Jaemin so that he took a few steps back* No matter what you don’t have any right to touch her!

Aria: neither do you have!! *slaps Jeno’s face*

Jisung: You are a maid! You should start to behave like one!

Aria: *walks towards Jaemin* I am not a maid anymore, I am Jeno’s..little sister

Jeno: No! HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN OUR LOVE?! WHERE HAS IT GONE!? *storms towards Aria*

Jisung: Master Lee, you know already that your love wasn’t real and now there is no way your family will accept this *stops Jeno*

Aria: I haven’t forgotten our days and nights together Master Lee, but I am still a poor girl who is now engaged to a rich guy *looks at Jaemin*

Jaemin: How unpleasant for you Mister Lee, but like everyone said *pulls aria closer to him*

Jaemin: She might have been yours, now she is mine or wait she has never been yours *looks into Aria’s eyes deeply*

Jeno: *slaps Jaemin’s arm away* Even if she is my sister related by blood I still love her as my future wife and my forever love! *pulls Aria to his side*

Chenle: CUT! We don’t need to retake it!

I was totally amazed by all of them. Just a second ago Aria was looking depressed and Jisung looked pretty uneasy himself. Jaemin was in another world doing his own thing and Jeno was smiling while he dragged me gently out to watch the scene.

I am shocked that all of them could change their feelings and reactions so fast. I almost believed that Jeno was in love with my little sister. I am for sure happy there was no kissing scene between them. If I saw them kiss I would run in the middle of it and drag Aria way and explain it later to Jeno.

“You look shocked, did you see something you didn’t like?” Jeno asked as he ran off the set to come back to me who just spaced out in the middle of the air.
