Taz and Up were woken early the next morning - 6.30 - by a loud knock at the door. Up jolted and in desperate attempt to stop the knocking, he rushed over to the door to find a his friend from French class looking shocked them when Taz came into sight a little confused.

"Jamie?! What are you doing at this time in the morning?" Up asked, trying to sound angry but failing due to the lack of energy at that hour.

"Wait who's that? And isn't that your sweater?" Jamie quizzed Up. Taz was not a morning person, to say the least. What the hell did this kid want?

"How about you stop asking why I am wearing an item of Up's clothing and tell us why you are here at 6.30 am?" She snapped.

"Right um well Coach Jed is cutting people from combat. He's real pissy today dude. You've got to be on the court by 7.45 and if you can't complete 7 laps then your cut."

"Mierda." Taz cursed, earning confused looks from both guys. She couldn't be bothered to translate, she wasn't in the mood for anything today. Yesterday was so nice and then she ruined it and it turned into the typical birthday she has every year. Plus, she wasn't going to get a chance to talk to Up about what happened. He probably knew but even so. He had gone to all that effort and she messed it up. Well, it will have to wait.

"Right okay, thanks for telling us. Wait...how do you know this? Your not in our combat class?" Jamie looked a little guilty and became uneasy on his feet.

"Well um, the teachers were down the corridor from my room and I sort of heard them so I listened in and heard what was going on then followed them to get more information."

"Well I'm sort of glad you did. Thanks, see you later." Jamie nodded then walked away. Turning around, Up saw that Taz had just climbed back into bed and looked pretty comfortable.

"Taz, you know we gotta be there in an hour right?" Ignoring Up's question, she rolled over and sighed.

"Okay. You leave me with no choice." Up did this to Lucia all the time when she wouldn't get up for school and it usually worked. He went to the other side of the bedroom then ran towards the bed, jumping on it right next to where Taz was, causing her to fly right out of bed and land roughly on the floor.

"UP! ¿QUE PASA?" Up couldn't catch his breath from laughing.

"DAT WAS NOT FUNNY! I WAS SLEEPING!"

"Oops?" He showed no remorce in his sarcastic tone. She scowled.

"Well, I warned ya!"

"I have no memory of dat."

"That's because you were 'sleeping'" Up mimicked.

"So anyway, come on let's get dressed and we'll go down for breakfast."

"What is dat coach's problem? And if Jamie hadn't have come to de door, we wouldn't have known...seems strange to me." Taz quizzed. Up thought the same, if Jed wanted everyone out there then why wasn't he telling them? Oh well, they wouldn't just have to show up and see what its all about.

(7.30)

Taz and Up stood in a corner close to were Coach Jed usually sat. But he wasn't there yet. Although there were some missing, the class was here. Up asked a few people how they found out and most were from Jamie or other people who had heard from Jamie but others had Jed knocking on there door. Why only choose a few? Perhaps it was a favoritism thing? Taz didn't like it what ever it was. First of all she didn't like Jed cause' he was so damn sexist towards her seeing as she was the only girl in the class and also because screaming at people to toughen up isn't going to tell them how to improve on technique.
